Honest criticism (meant to be constructive): All things considered, I feel that this review was mediocre at best. The host briefly mentions the "Electrochromic" Roof (at 11:14) then neither shows the see-through roof from the interior nor how the roof mechanism works in normal operation. That was a massive fail. Then the host fails to demonstrate how the rear window affects the noise level and wind buffeting within the cabin. I understand the host is not Doug Demuro, but these are not some trivial "Quirks and Features" aspects of this vehicle.
This was supposedly a review of all-new convertible McLaren Artura. Correct? Should the special roof not have been the whole point of this exercise? Concluding my thoughts on the convertible top, the FIRST thing the host should have done is to explain (and actually demonstrate) how the roof mechanism operates. Fully closed, then fully open.
Beyond this, the host jumps around in some sort of stream-of-consciousness rambling mode about different aspects of the car. Offering the viewer the proverbial overwhelming 'sip from a firehose' in an attempt to convey various tidbits about the car. While the enthusiasm is certainly understandable, there was no logical progression or cohesion in the commentary. It was disjointed and hard to follow. Sad to say, in my opinion, the visual was superior to the audio in this presentation.

Just buy it used with low kms. Not only do you skirt the luxury tax, McLarens depreciate in price like stone. Check Autotrader, you can buy a more powerful 720S these days for the same price as a brand new Artura.

You can buy a corvette e-ray at less than half the price. It's inferior from an exotic car standpoint, but for the vast majority of people who don't regularly drive at 9/10ths, they won't notice or won't care.

If you apply that logic why buy a Corvette E-Ray when you can get a Model 3 Performance with similar pace for much less?

@@wasdwasdwwasd Straight up, Model 3 doesn't look cool enough and certainly doesn't handle like mid-engine exotic.

I don't want a hybrid supercar. Stop it.
