I left my cord to my baby alone til it was white. Why rush everything? I never understood why if its not a emergency they dont just lay the baby on mom and let them rest. I am so glad i told them not to cut the cord and we was going tondelay clamping and allow our child to get all the rest of the cord blood in.

thanks for the rundown of how the whole thing works. I've used body bags before, but only as minimalist camping gear where I can sleep on the ground and not get my sleeping bag wet, tuck the sleeping mat under, sleeping bag inside. Under an overhanging tarp over my head I stay dry for the most part. damp but dry. Beats packing a tent for long hikes. Soon after that Bivy sacks were invented and now I carry it as spare
A recently dead person I've been told puts up as much difficulty as dressing the elderly in a nursing home, but still soft and pliable. But once autolysis begins and bloating starts then its much difficult. The sounds the body make is an eye opener. I mean it makes sense, along with stomach purge or involuntary urine or defecation... but we never think about it. Brilliant video for a complicated subject
Your wife's adorable, and the baby part... I don't suppose the parents will be there to help? I'd imagine they would be in an emotional wreck one way or another. the towel method is a very nice touch. very considerate. wonderful video

There might be something or there might not be. If I hear something unexplainable like dog paws scratching the door at night (I don't have a dog) or other things like that, then I just shrug and go back to sleep. The ghosts can either reveal themselves to me face to face or not waste my time. I've never seen ghost, but some places that I've visited felt kinda alive. I think that places, especially buildings, can have their own memory. That's just a speculation, of course, and an entertaining thought. In summary, I don't know.
