aMSa is absolutely rewriting what is possible with this character. At this point, it's not just because hes playing an unknown character anymore. He's just so good!
man as someone who hasn't played melee in years, only a fraction of matches are continuously entertaining to me since i can't fully grasp the true skill and effort put into most matches. but holy fuck amsa is probably 1 of the only players who i can watch in every match and be entertained everytime
Amsa is crazy in how he basically maximizes the amount of edgeguards he can perform when an opponent goes off-stage. He can always get a ledge-canceled egg toss or two regardless of position.
In smash 64 milti hit drill like moves breaks through yoshi armor becuase it will hit armor then continue the hitbox. How good is drilling yoshi armor in melee? I do play melee just not that much.
Art yom Drill and multi hit moves in general are great against a grounded yoshi in melee, because you can’t parry multi hit moves. They are pretty bad against yoshi in the air though, as no multi hit moves hit through super armor. Super armor in melee is knock back based, so it takes a certain amount of knock back to break it.
Kinder Gardner he is talking about the fact that when you do your up-b or you do the input of an up-b you have to wait 40frames to be able to do a meteor cancer so he was saying that Amsa waited a bit after that egg so sfat tried to up-b out of hit and got forward air at the same frame meaning he had to wait to much time and at its percentage was dead. If sfat knew amsa was coming for a fair, he would have done that meteor cancel and amsa probably would have nair him after that fair.

Drilling isn't as good as it is in 64. It still has the high percent damage though if you get all hits on your opponent.
