In this video I show the trails of Serra do Lopo (Extrema, Minas Gerais state), and Ana Chata/Bauzinho, in the Pedra do Baú complex (São Bento do Sapucaí, São Paulo state), in Mantiqueira Mountains (Southeast of Brazil).

| COMPLEMENTARY INFORMATION |
Serra do Lopo: To get there, search for the guesthouse "Céu da Mantiqueira" on the traffic app or go to coordinates -22.890594, -46.331302. It is not necessary to stay at the inn, but there is a fee to do the trail (R$ 20.00 in June 2024). You can arrive by car and leave it in their parking lot, low-slung cars can get there.

Pedra do Baú Complex: There are three trails in the complex. The Bauzinho viewpoint is the easiest and does not require an appointment. The Ana Chata trail is moderate and needs to be booked. Climbing Pedra do Baú can only be done with safety equipment, with companies or independently, and also needs to be scheduled.

MONA Pedra do Baú has two entrances. The main entrance is at coordinates -22.679344, -45.648859 and is accessed by the highway that connects Campos do Jordão to São Bento do Sapucaí (paved, but with a stretch of dirt road between it and the MONA entrance). Priorities can park right at the trailhead. Other visitors need to stay in another parking lot, close to the entrance, and walk 1.1 km along an open road to the beginning of the trail. The belvedere is in the middle of this path.

Eu já subi lá e acampei lá em cima da pedra do baú (é proibido 😬) o nascer, do sol, a vista e o silêncio lá, são incríveis.
Eu também subi sem equipamento, mas agora é obrigado o uso de equipamento.
