And you can tell. They really sharpened these broadcasts up by mid season.
@@Preso_ yeah I agree. Matt White took quite a while to get some rhythm and flow to his commentary back, not until 2009 imo when he started to improve

I can't help but wonder why the race officials don't listen to the team radios... they'd have known what happened and a penalty would have never been issued!!

I wish those cars had the engines from their road cars, the same independent rear suspension and 600hp of course turbo or supercharger, because when I look at them, I see just a falcon or commodore with 90s overly expensive windsor type engines

That penalty for Paul Dumbrell was utter BS. Think Crompo wanted to say more on the matter but couldn’t after the poo storm he got himself in after his rant towards Colin Bond in 2003. Even Larry Perkins said he wished the stewards actually looked at everything first before jumping to conclusions. Hope PD got an apology afterwards, not that it would’ve been any consolation whatsoever.
Which race had the Nascar drivers in it?
I remember that they just couldn't get the hang of a standing start. If I recall, on the third try to start the race they just had a rolling start under the pace car.
