I cried for you in that Olympic Final girl. Now i'm very happy to see you back in good shape . I just can't wait to see you running again , and i hope an Olympic Medal for you , because you really deserves it . You r the best
god bless lolo you gave it all you had I for one feel exceptionaly proud of your determination. maybe some day you could coach other children future Olympic champions love you lolo
I hate when public media right now, diminish her accomplishments.. She is an amazing athlete and what's more important... amazing person.. True role model for younger generation.
Lolo Jones is a true architect of hardwork and dedication throughout adversity. Just as I did not know her story about her upbringing in Iowa, I couldn't have ever imagined she had spinal surgery the way she performs and looks these days. TRUE LADY WARRIOR!!
Beautiful video, I love you Lolo! You're so strong and fast! **Does anyone know the music/song that is playing at 2:18??? Please let me know! I love the sound! Thank you!
Her Snatch Technique Is for explosiveness not dropping down to catch the weight means you need to get it alot higher and use more of your hip pop to get it... i've done snatches and cleans both ways and doing it the way she is doing it has helped me with my speed. All because you google proper form for stuff does not mean you always do it that way.
what he meant was that when she did amazing at the Olympic in 2008 she wasn't properly trained. She spent time that she was supposed to be training out having surgery. The fact that she was still able to succeed regardless is amazing. @semo55jk is just saying how much better she is going to do now that she has more time(:
shes a babe. Love her story ive been through similar challenges like most top athletes. A stubborn, persistent attitude will get you a long way in sport
I must know what the exercise at :54 is called (it is right after she does the snatch), if its a push press variation, its unlike anything I've ever seen. If there is anyone who has any experience or sound knowledge surrounding this, and could share any insight into its application would be greatly appreciated
I totally agree!!! I dont think people understand the extent to which proper biomechanical movement transfers into performance in the track. Her form on the olympic movements, her grip in the bench press, the knees collapsing on the squat.... these are few things that I pick up from the video. I must also say that for olympic movements, may be she does not have the range of motion in the shoulders and thats all she can do... which is better than none.
Haha I'm willing to bet she's not on anything. She has been an absolute beast at the hurdles since HIGHSCHOOL. What you see is someone who does this as a career so obviously she is going to have professional trainers, nutritionists, masseuses, the top equipment and ideal training locations with the best coaches.
I hope you're just being sarcastic, if so I apologize, but just in case you're not: She has two world indoor Championship gold medals in the hurdles, and was also a finalist in the Olympics, I'd say she's had a fantastic career. She also has character, strength, courage, and heart, all things which matter more than medals in my opinion. By the way, what the hell do you have? I'm guessing you're not a world champion in track or anything for that matter so maybe you should show a little respect.
Does anyone know the song from :47- 1:03??? Cause I've tried shazaming it and other music Id but it doesn't show up. Please someone I really wanna get this song.
no. she doesn't. look at her credits. just because she hasn't won yet doesn't mean you can strip her of her title. She's an OLYMPIAN. The title alone is an honor and not alot of people are able to have that
Unfortunately, Lolo is done with track and has gone on to bobsledding. Her last chance to medal was in the 2008 Olympics (she's now 33 ish) when she plowed down the second to last hurdle and finished out of the medals. There are just too many other hurdlers now that are superior. I doubt if Sally Pearson will win gold again in 2016.
That's not what I said. I said it's not AS important as other things. Upper body strength IS important in sprinting. It's just not as important as other things. The point I made is that she doesn't need to have absolute perfect form on her snatches.
I said it's of little importance COMPARED to sprinting technique etc etc etc. I'm well aware that it is important, but there are bigger fish to fry in track and field if you aren't a thrower.
Even if you knew what you were talking about with weight training, you clearly don't know how a hurdler/sprinter trains. She doesn't need perfect technique on her snatches. Upper body weight training is of little importance compared to sprinting technique and power for a hurdler/sprinter. She is much more concerned with things like working on explosiveness in her drive phase and whipping her trail leg through the hurdle. You're arguing something that doesn't matter.
She's a brilliant athlete and a beautiful lady couldn't get better than that
Flat out AWESOME!!! she is a machine, and deserves much respect, for her physical and personal discipline... hope she wins!!!
You are doing awesome! We love you.
this woman is the truth, a very inspirational individual. she definitely will win that medal.
I cried for you in that Olympic Final girl. Now i'm very happy to see you back in good shape .
I just can't wait to see you running again , and i hope an Olympic Medal for you , because you really deserves it . You r the best
the last part where she said she wanna inspires kid who watch her achieve her goals are really inspirational
Why do people hate when someone is living their dream? What's wrong with people talking bad about this lady, for her still trying to compete?
Jealousy
blackstersherron Simply bc they don't have what it takes to do what she's doing. A loser is a loser, ignore them, ultimately they are insignificant.
god bless lolo you gave it all you had I for one feel exceptionaly proud of your determination. maybe some day you could coach other children future Olympic champions love you lolo
I enjoyed this video.
I hate when public media right now, diminish her accomplishments.. She is an amazing athlete and what's more important... amazing person.. True role model for younger generation.
I love this woman!

tiene bastante fuerza para el físico q tiene, en verdad q la admiro y respeto x ello.
Lolo you are great for the sport. 12 Years 12 seconds 2012 hope she storms it.
Why are people commenting on her looks? She's not going out for beauty queen. This girl is all American: determination through the fucking roof.
Anyone know the name of the instrumental that's playing while she's in the gym?
What a truly beautiful women. Inside and out!
I totally agree!!!

I want to train with her!! Make it to the Olympics as a hurdler too
What kind of shoes is she wearing( the ones when she's running)
Does anyone know the what song the music/beat that is used between :47-1:07?
@Nathan Gallivan i was thinking the same thing!
for the clean/jerk, looks like around 2.5kg or 20lbs with 45lbs for the bar... so... 65lbs total?
i wanna know the song in the beginning!
does anyone know what kind of asics spikes she is wearing?
Haha I'm willing to bet she's not on anything. She has been an absolute beast at the hurdles since HIGHSCHOOL. Fantastic mindset. Youre beautiful
Team Lolo!!!!!
She is one of my favourite athletes.

PLEASE PRAY THAT LOLO JONES WINS A GOLD MEDAL IN THE UPCOMING OLYMPICS THANK. YOU AMEN.
someone know the name of the song?? tnks.
i run track it was so hard to make it to junior olympics
What is the exercise at 2:00?
I would say its something along the lines of a Split Push Press but you do not go into a full lunge
jesus that is some bad snatch form. looks almost as bad as crossfit form.
I agree, the snatch is bad, I can see her back is rounding when she starts to pull the barbell
Luis Espiritu Agree! Probably thats why she had a spine surgery..
yea, theres no sense in lifting with bad form especially for a track athlete, back injuries can destroy your track career :/
what kind of spikes is she wearing?
Proper weight training? Did you not watch the video. Do you think she should be doing curls or something?
I hope you're just being sarcastic, if so I apologize, but just in case you're not: She has two world indoor Championship gold medals in the hurdles, and was also a finalist in the Olympics, I'd say she's had a fantastic career. Elem-Ayo! :D Where'd you hear that from? You're rollin' on Ecstasy again aren't you, Jason?
no. she doesn't. look at her credits. just because she hasn't won yet doesn't mean you can strip her of her title. She's an OLYMPIAN. The title alone is an honor and not alot of people are able to have that
Yeah they do look alike, I saw LoLo for the first time, and the first thing I said was "wow she looks like Rashida Jones".
Dang Lolo Dang
go lolo go
@DjRichisum I'm pretty sure her blood is red like most people....
No he was not. Lolo's father was in and out of jail when she was growing up.
I might have EE off your getting your doe!
2:48 Nice heel strike
i have those
She is doing proper weight training..
Are those 45 lbs plates ?!!? ;O
The richest t/f athlete is usain bolt and he's number 65 out of the richest athletes in the world
Her glutes don't look powerful, I think she could add a couple mph to her sprints if she directly trained and activated them properly..
did you really just critique an Olympic athlete and her trainers?
Unfortunately, Lolo is done with track and has gone on to bobsledding.
Her last chance to medal was in the 2008 Olympics (she's now 33 ish) when she plowed down the second to last hurdle and finished out of the medals.

robo056
its the internet my friend, it makes you wonder...
i doubt you an do half of what she can do, so dont say anything
iceline radicke i think he was just pointing out something. everyone needs to fix somethings
That's not what I said. I said it's not AS important as other things. Upper body strength IS important in sprinting. It's just not as important as other things. The point I made is that she doesn't need to have absolute perfect form on her snatches.
You can hear the high testosterone levels in her voice.
lolo jones :)
"speaking NORMAL, wihtout tryign to SOUND SWEET!"
uuff!!
0:25 thats dangerous
No no, sorry... two 2.5kg weights + two 10kg weights + the bar = 100lbs total

#LOLO
I'm still convinced.. XY no XX

0:52 holy shit
