- LED Strip Light Not Working Any More? How To Reset A Cheap Bluetooth LED Strips Light Kit? Sometimes these LED strip lights can be caught in a malfunction and have to be reset, but there's no button. So how to reset it without a button?

How many times did you had to do it before it started working again
@@vramnarine4866 About 5 or 6 times. It shifted the colours but it never went to the original ones. My main issue was that the OFF button was shifted too and I had to unplug it to switch the lights off. So I was happy even with the partial shift from this video.
@@notme241 I have a different Bluetooth controller. But my led strip was broken so I cut it solder back the wires, attached the strip back to the rest of the kit n when I power it on, it's just lighting this blue-ish white color...the entire all the way rather car. So I figured it was the controller but idk how to reset it.

i just had buy them 1 month ago and suddenly they stopped working, but I tried this and it worked!!! after the reset steps one of the two strips turned on switching colors while the other one remained off, so I tried reconnecting the small cable and now both are great

I just installed my light led strops today and when I turn them off it change to low blue light color, it think its off, and all colors are changed, when I press red it change to green etc. what should I do?

Hi. The reset did not work for me.
The green and yellow lights are not working so we are only getting blue red and purple colours. It cannot be damage to the strip as I have a dual connector and 4 strips and whichever strip I connect to whichever connector I get the same problem. Am at wits end with upset daughter.
When we set originally set them up the green was working but not the red.
Any ideas?

My leds aren’t syncing, and you know I’m an over dramatic kinda girl and now I cry when I see them. This is more of an explanation, when I change the colour only one bit goes that colour the other bits go a different colour.
If you have different colors along the LED strip then I wire inside must be broken :-(((

For my lights, only blue and green work, no other colors will work.

Hey, i just got my lights, 4 sets. I put them up and it worked perfectly with the controller and the ad said i could connect it to DuoCo strip but it didnt find the led lights, i tried ur method with plugging out and in the power supply, any other tips you could help me with?

Sometimes when I unplug/turn of the power supply for my led strips it flashes with red green and blue colours. But if I keep it on, it has an extremely dim blue lights. It doesn't light up the room but is annoying. I just wanna fix it. I also just put them up yesterday and the flashing happened last night, when I turned off the power to sleep.

I got mine a few hours ago , they were fine when i first checked , but now after some hours they just don't turn on , i mean even when the plug is in it doesn't turn on , anybody knows what i gotta do? EDIT : I fixed it , just had to turn on my phone's location to find the bluetooth... Thx anyways

I had mine on for months working fine. I tried to switch colors one day and I accidentally turned them off with the controller. Next thing you know, they are off and won’t turn on🤦🏽♂️ I tired switching controller batteries and disconnecting and connecting everything but nothing works they WON’T turn on.

Hi! I recently got my LED lights a couple days ago, and for i think 2 days they worked, but today, I tried turning them on and they didn’t turn on. I replaced the battery, unplugged and plugged again, tried putting the 4 metal pieces in a different way, and basically everything but they wont work! What can I do???
Sometimes there's an LED on the power adapter to show that it's delivering right amount of power. Is it ON?

When I do this my strip goes from doing one color to blinking red-green-blue all the time. But no matter what I can't find the Bluetooth signal. Do you think the Bluetooth receiver is broken?

It's a hardware error ... one cable broken inside. You can cut the bad thing out and insert the patch, but it's very difficult

So you have one with one power adapter and one controller and several LED strips? Hence the power and controller are still working? Have you tried to switch the LED strips?
My led lights are new, but there are small discolourization patches when I turn them off the patches stay a dim blue. What should I do?
What patches are you talking about?
@@allcheckout they are 3 individual lights that are discolored and when I turn the lights off they stay a light blue color.

Hellooo, I was wondering why my LED lights cant turn off. When it’s supposed to be off it just lights up green, and when it supposed to be turned on, the color red is gone, but my LED was still able to produce the color pink. This is so weird..but I hope the creator or someone knows how to solve this...thank you so much!

@ The reset procedure is a bit different with different manufacturers. Some use faster plug/unplug cycles and some slower (where you have to wait a few seconds after every plug / unplug cycle) ones. Try different speed and different amounts. Hope it helps.

Have you tried the 'reset trick' from the video? Sometimes it works - sometimes not. Usually the power adapters of these LED lights are super cheap and are in 90% of the cases the problem. If you have a power meter, try to check the voltage

ok so idk if this will work for everyone but anyway:
i got my led lights like four days ago. i used them once and after that they just didn’t turn on anymore.
i recommend checking if everything is plugged in correctly if they don’t turn on at all to begin with, but if they worked before then everything should be fine
. mine were plugged in right, so the problem wasn’t there but every time i plugged the leds in they flashed green but didn’t respond when i tried to turn them on.
SOLUTION: do what the video says, literally. plug them in for about five seconds and then unplug for five seconds or more. i did it twice and now they work again. i fr told y’all what the video says but i guess it just proves that this works. ( sorry if this is hard to read, english isn’t my native language )

Lights worked fine when first turned on this morning. Now all they do is blink on and off and cannot control them with controller, remote or app. Any idea on what the problem may be?

I bought some lights a month ago and they were working fine the app worked and i could change all the colours, one day i set the brightness to zero and left them on over night and when i went on the app in the morning they wouldn’t show up as connected there was nothing there and now they’re stuck on very dim blue

Do you know why when I try and turn off my LED strips they turn off for 10 seconds and turn back on by itself? also whenever it’s on the lights turn off really quickly and turn back on by itself like it’s flickering?

I have two sets that are exactly the same and accidentally switched the remotes. I hit "DIY 1" on the wrong remote and the entire system (two strips in one power supply) shut down. It won't turn on, it won't respond to the five-second reset... nothing. Should I trash them or is there a fix?

How my led light is half working do you know a solution for it
This is a hardware problem and the broken part has to be cut out and replaced by the replacement part, but it's not easy to do and you can damage the whole thing. I've the same thing here and I leave it as it is (ok it's just in the patio) as long as it's providing some light ... lol

Sounds like wire broken. Very hard to repair, but you can try. Did you get a repair set?

Only one of mine does this. I did what you did and it won’t even connect to my app any more. I have done this several times.

In 99% of the cases it means that the power supply is defective
I found the issue to why my lights broke the light strip and where it turns into wires you plug in the white box it ripped so I used so electrical tape to fix it

That's a broken wire inside the LED strip. You can try to cut out the part and repair (if you got a repair set), but it's difficult and risky. I have the same on my LED strip since 6 months .... yeah ... happens
