Perhaps the best offensive line group in decades, with Joe Alt, the 6'8 5/8" 321 pounder, leading the charge. However, what impressed me most were a plaethora of other O-linemen who did better than expected and could thus do well in the NFL. Most underrated from the group: Frank Crum (6'8 1/4" 315), of Wyoming. Had he played in a power five conference he would be a lock as a first round pick. Because of his showing at the combine, running a 4.94 40-yard dash/1.69 10-yard split, he may end up being the steal of the 2024 draft.
I’m a huge fan of Jordan Morgan, Patrick Paul and Amarius Mims. 3 guys that are going to be starters for a while in the league once they get their feet under them.
Need to adjust a “rollout” timing for O-Line 40yrds like Tesla gets 😂 Most dudes literally stand up with the 1st step before getting into the sprint. A 10th of a sec perhaps?
The 40 yard dash doesn't really matter for o- linemen and d-linemen, but the 10 yard split time does. If you think about it. 10 yards is the most your average linemen would travel on the football field each play.
People actually underestimate the importance of an o lineman’s speed. Like if Raheem mastery gets a screen pass and they need to get down field fast to block
Put your full gear uniform on and run with it.. that'll prove your final speed run cause some people run fast without uniform and most run slow with full gear uniform on. Now that's truth in football.
It should be illegal for a guy like Joe alt to run that fast
Former TE too so he flashing that TE speed
Titans fan too so if we get Alt, that’d be a big win. But I also have a feeling that we could be drafting a WR at pick 7. So it could go either way
Mate Miami Lebron was 6’8 280 running that probably 1/2 a sec less. There are many big men who can move but yes Joe alt is a specimen o liner
@@youngmyth Wouldn’t be surprised if Alt goes to the chargers
@@GamerBro22299 Herbert better capitalize on that if so.
Fuaga!!! Oregon state represent!!

Great breakdown
35:33 Fun fact: Mason McCormick had the same high school coach as Vinatieri.

not a patrick paul fan personally
Crazy
It’s crazy how fast some of these massive guys can run
Dude just joe alt chasing after you that’s the stuff of nightmares 😂
"I never met a Seahawk." Beautiful!
These times are extremely impressive. The average NFL fan probably couldn’t break 6.0 seconds in the 40 yard dash, let alone 5.0
I think most can break 6. Breaking 6 is easy unless youre just that slow.
I ran a 4.34 as a DB in high school... now I'm 40yrs old and its probably a 4.8 after stretching 😅
I ran 4.4 when I was 15 lol
@@NAT-turners-Revenge That's world class speed. But no college ball?
@@wcstrawberryfields8011 I find it unlikely that he's for real unless he was a beast or something. Maybe he didn't count it correctly.
As a saints fan we need one of these O-lineman
The Big Hefes! 🚆

Couldn’t contain themselves at 13:13
That's the knock on Mims, dude is injury prone and hasn't finished a season.
not a good look especially for a lineman
15:12 Trente Jones
320+ lbs,,,6'5" and doin sub 5s!!!!!😮
I don’t understand why they don’t do 1, 3, and 5 yard splits. 1 especially would show you how fast he is off the ball.
Frank Crum is a great runner and he is in engaged with his fiancee in Wyoming.
Joe Alt reminds me of a young lane Johnson when he was drafted

They emphasize this
Smartest comment I’ve ever seen
true but nothing beats seeing a guy who is overweight for a living chugging for their live
They said this in the start, the 40 isn’t as important as the 10 for linemen
@@jellebetten7036 lmao
Did Taylor Lewan retire?? He looks skinny🤔
Niners better get Cooper Beebe or any of the Poly boys. Or all of them
Before the combine troy fautanu was possible but not anymore

Here for Jarret Kingston. Go 49ers.
I know Kingston i uses to be in the same 8th grade back in 2013 and 2014
The wr and db videos were longer I guess these guys were moving this year
Kingsley Suamataia is a Detroit Lion. It’s a lock.
He looks good
He's penei sewell's cousin
This is where dominant offenses are created, trenches not QBs.
