I've cooked it before and no it didnt turn out great. It was fine though. Every step of the recipe has big chance to f it up. And its expensive to make, so unless youre quite well off you cant afford to make it that often.

@@Kolossuszy again try cooking a steak on a hot plate there is more to it than timing (yes timing is a factor) but it is far more difficult to get a perfect medium rare steak on a hot plate as opposed to a cast iron pan on a stove or on a grill that takes experience and skill.
