Quietly spectacular: perfect balance of technique & feeling by Kristina, in a very impressive new (to me) composition, played on a fine instrument by Sr. Plazuelo, also new to me as luthier. Great hopes for all these artists & craftsmen in future success. The Siccas partners also deserve much credit for these presentations, RUclips, as well.
So, so, so good. Beauty to the extreme. A stunning composition brought to life by an absolutely wonderful performance. A beautiful guitar - but a truly wonderful guitarist. At least a standard against mediocrity, especially for makers. I recently had a "world renowned" maker tell me that every guitar has some intonation loss. I can't believe he actually said that. There seems to be a difficulty for people to admit when mistakes are made. The poor workmanship standard carries over into the low number of good new compositions as well.
I like this player. She must have learned from a very good teacher. Her RH positioning and LH accuracies are impeccable. Musically, she is focused as well. 🌹🌹
Rudnev's composition is one of this most stimulating to the psyche i've ever heard; kristina's rendition is so skillfully played--especially her harmonic accents. Her playing transcended me into an ecstatic state of mind.
It's taken me a while to get here but...around 12 years of practicing/performing/analysing/writing music and I am so happy to finally appreciate and crave classical music. Good work everyone who is contributing :)
