This looks like a mighty little grinder. I am guessing it is based on the little blue grinder made in China, because it looks the same with a different colour! That is obviously where the similarity stops!
The first benefit is that you can remove the water reservoir to empty and clean. I haven’t been able to do that with the blue one!
I like the fact it is made to Australian standards and that you have a 12 month warranty and the possibility of repair through Axess Glass?
I mostly want to thank you for your tutorial, as information on how to use the blue grinder was pretty scarce!
The only thing I would add to your info is that when grinding a piece of china or porcelain tile, I have found it best to angle the pieces to allow the glazed surface to be smoothed first and then remove any of the lower area. Some china and tiles tend to chip easily by putting up to the grinding bit!

There are even no brand or unknown brands that are unheard of that don't come with information at all and don't have the backup or support that the Mini Maxi grinder has. Thanks for watching. :)

Thankyou very much, appreciate that. Yes a P2 or N95 mask is always good to wear, the water will definitely keep the silica down but you cannot be to careful. Respect as well from Australia. :)
What a clear and concise video thank you. I am currently tossing up whether to purchase this MiniMaxi Grinder or the Gryphon Studio Grinder as a back up. I work in cold glass - fusing and slumping, but I assume this grinder can be used for the 3mm Bullseye glass I work with. I'm now leaning towards this MiniMaxi Grinder. Much appreciated.

Is there a smaller drill bit (3 or 6mm) head that will work with this model?
There is a 3 and 6mm grinding head Axess Glass carries but I am not sure if it works with this grinder you would need to call or send an email off to Axess Glass to check. :) www.axessglass.com
Another great video Peter! I have an inland grinder (in USA and larger model) and mine states that I must add the diamond coolant to the water. Does this smaller model not require that? The coolant isn't expensive and not a problem to add but if this grinder doesn't require it that's an added benefit. Thanks.

Hi Katrina, l use it for stained glass, glass mosaic tile, vitreous tiles. It’s designed to be used with glass and ceramic so unless it’s something out of the ordinary it should be fine. If you have concerns just give Merlin Mosaica or Axess Glass a call. 😊

Peter, what grit number is your grinder bit for crockery? Fine or coarse?
I am just using the one that came with the grinder, however a courser one would be good. It needs to be one with the reverse screw mechanism to work with the water :)
The bits are 100 grit. I will be getting a coarser grit in the future
Are courser grit grinding bits better for ceramics than for glass? Thank you!
