Weller earned his status as a legend the old school way... endless gigging and refining his stagecraft... in the same elite songwriter tier as Ray Davis and Steve Marriot. A true great.

He's probably just doing it for a mate, something I know he's experienced himself as I remember many many years ago when he played Plymouth and had Noel Gallagher show up last minute and support him unannounced , playing a set of Oasis songs (plus some Jam and Beatles covers) when Oasis were just about the biggest band in Britain at the time. 1998 I think it was.

I've loved Paul since the Jam...this was a great show, but I am surprised and disappointed to see that the production or video folks for this show used the idiotic smart phone vertical video window. It makes for a really cheesy looking stage set, to be honest. Also makes Imag ineffective AF, you can only see one player at a time with the narrow ass screens. Stop it!! It is stupid enough on a phone, don't spread it to the real world. Video screens are wider than they are high to match your vision. This is like peeking between fence boards.
