If your looking for clutching hit up Ben at altitude powersports in Alberta he clutches a ton of sled in our area in bc and by far the most solid and fine tuned clutching I’ve ever ridden would totally recommend his clutching options!

I've been in that valley years ago on ATV, came in from the NW though. Can't believe they lock that cabin way out there, especially in the winter. If a guy needed shelter it's getting broken into sadly.

The Elkford Snowmobile association cabin up the valley is locked too. Need to be a club member to get a key. Luckily the cabin up Koko claims isn’t locked. More of an emergency shelter than a cabin with beds and a kitchen though.

Page 191 in the manual says 8250rpm +/-150rpm. Haven’t seen any info yet though where anyone dyno’ed to see where it’s making peak HP. Muskoka’s 9R was revving 8700 at the start of last season and I think he may have just added heavier weights. Jodie at Whiskey Throttle Powersports had some iBexx kits for the 9R that were supposed to be pretty good. If you’re happy with the performance though, just changing weights is a lot cheaper. EDIT - Ha ha nevermind, just seen where you ordered some weights.

It’s likely low and ridden off like the last time I was there. Supposed to snow Saturday so Sunday would be better.

Manual says 8250 +- 150RPM, I prefer 8400, feel that it can hold the rpms in heavy snow better. From what I can see in your video, you are pulling 8350/8400 in the hills. If that is at WOT, your fine. Maybe try the low elevation spring. While writing the comment i heard you ordered snyper weights so i guess youˋll be fine.👍🏼

Good info, thanks! I should read the manual haha! We had pretty high humidity and it was warmer than our previous rides where I was seeing 8700-8750RPM. The SNYPR weights worked great in a friend’s boost that was over revving 👍

8400 at 7-10K feet. You are riding at a lower elevation than High Elevation Clutching is intended.

I wish Polaris offered a 5-7000ft clutch setting instead of just high/low. Thanks for commenting

What rpm are we supposed to see? I was seeing 8800 or so with my 9 with high elevation clutching

      @@JasonCaville I second that.
