You can wash the hate with soap. You can soak it in cold water with antibacterial soap & that should help

Does it tarnish?
Eventually their jewelry will tarnish but I will say it lasts at least like a year for me. You can spray some enamel or brush with clear polish but I never do, I just grab some more 😅
