@@EliasPfaifferYeah, it's usually windows defender or your own paid antivirus that flags things. When Shadps4 crashes for me and tries to record a crash log my antivirus flags it even tho it's clearly not a malicious process
@@ThatGuy-ky2yf in 2024 you will no longer need an antivirus program!!! win 10 / win 10's own is completely sufficient! would say that you uninstall everything else and then add your complete shadps4 folder to “exceptions”
I've tried to play Nikoderiko on every yuzu fork/version available, but none of them worked, it only opened in Ryujinx. Until i tried Torzu and now it works. Thanks for sharing theses infos man, God bless
Somehow, it only works when i start it without any pre configurations, just open the game and it starts. Tried on Citron and Yuzu, but I got decryption error on both. Keys and firmware updated. Somebody else having this error too?

Hey Alex, thanks for this emulation update! I wanted to try out the latest Citron Canary release on Steam Deck, but sadly it seems none of the Linux versions work. The AppImage seems to not have the libraries built into the app itself, and it just doesn't boot. The standalone Linux binary seems to have the same issue. If you could, could you please bring that up to Zephyron? I tried looking for a Discord server but couldn't find one, and Citron is without a doubt the best option for Switch emulation on Steam Deck right now. Getting the AppImage working would make it work wonderfully!
Man, the folks on our Discord have been discussing this and looking for a solution. Alex&Index is our Linux consultant there and the guy responsible for emulator preservation. If there's any solution available right now, he definitely knows.

Coming back to the video for the timestamps to take note of the emus after I watched it earlier and I have to say with citron, I'm glad it's still going. I've just bought a new phone as the main reason was to follow switch emulation as I find arm vs arm, handheld vs handheld etc very interesting rather than just emulating on x64. It's more interesting to me to see how far we've come in mobile hardware rather than just resorting to a pc for everything

Como amo esse canal, na moral o melhor que tem da parte de emulação em questão de noticia, teste e realmente trás algo concreto. Sobre PS2, retroarch atualizou seu core LRPS2 e diferente das builds antigas que era bem obsoleto do PCSX2 no retroarch, esse core realmente deu um UP bem grande na emulação e também com recursos novos, como o render "paraLLEl-GS" que percebi pelo menos em minha máquina que fica melhor do que o vulkan em si. Mas vou testar mais ainda e com a possibilidade de shaders, pois o PCSX2 ainda me dá um resultado melhor por momento (ainda mais usando filtros CRT via Reshade para correção de cor e sprites), porém é promissor.
Obrigado pelo feedback, realmente não tenho atualizado o retroarch a algum tempo, quando tenho tempo livre que não estou fazendo vídeo e nem trabalhando na CLT, tenho jogado cyberpunk, mas vou dar uma olhada nessa melhoria, obrigado pela informação.
I would like shadps4 to be the lead for ps4 ONLY b/c the rpcs3 team have been getting more toxic and cocky, they don’t even bother optimizing games or making them run better. But shad used all their resources for bloodborne which was kinda stupid.

Thank you for your words. I think I’ve been making videos with AI voices since 2023, and during this time, I’ve already switched to a better voice. The people who come here to criticize usually don’t subscribe to the channel and only watch one video before never coming back, so there’s no reason to take them seriously. Only my wife and one of my patrons know about the sleepless nights I spend to keep this channel alive. I do this because I enjoy posting here and for the people who support and appreciate my work.

I wanted to ask something I've noticed with PCSX2 when using HD Textures Pack in some games the mipmapping seems to not be working properly. Anyone else have noticed this and do you have a fix? For Example in Legacy of Kain Defiance the Mipmapping is not working with latest versions of the nightly build. I had to download a nightly build from april 2024 for it to work properly.

I know you mentioned it, but I'm nit-picking here. You should display footage from the actual emulators you're mentioning. One emulator's footage playing through an entire console section doesn't depict the individual achievements they've made. It would make for a better video. Thanks anyway.
The big problem is that there are emulators I mentioned that only run on Linux, and Panda3DS is still bad on Windows, so making a video like that would take almost two full weeks.

I have same problem yesterday on yuzu mario kart stuck on select mii, I just delete all prod keys and firmware, add new prod and firm 19.delete save data, and remove pipeline caches. And Mario Kart 8 Work perfect. If you don't understand search it, I watch that video, its easy
Would like to know your oppinion, is this last version of Torzu better than Citron Canary 0.1 in terms of Performance? i noticed this Citron version was even better, but want to know other gamers oppinions too so i don't have to download Torzu again, since Yuzu was gone, i later was on Sudachi and with Ryujinx GreemDev, deleting the rest that were outdated now, Citron is what i been using since it got better than Sudachi😄
Unfortunately, it's really hard to know what exactly has improved in Torzu, because its development happens exclusively on the dark web. I would need to go to that community to see what users have been saying about the project and what they've been testing. Unlike the Citron discussion communities, which are all open and I see a lot of people testing games that I would never think of testing, so I get to know the challenges each one faces and where the project stands out.

Latest yuzu ea build still plays all games i play with the latest one being Luigi's mansion 2 hd remaster so i think yuzu is still relevant for a the majority of titles

I was sat going, "This cadence, this odd delivery, is this an AI voiceover?" Then it said, "Zero zero seven GoldenEye." And I went, "Yep. AI." And clicked off the video.
While I do like a human-voiceover better, an immense amount of work and documentation went into writing the script for this. Definitely not something AI could have generated.
The video is still great, AI or not, it doesn't bother me. Go live in a cave if u don't want people to use AI. Time is passing, technology is evolving, get over it.
I don't know, i'm the first person to complain about AI, but used in this type of content it really doesn't bother me. The video is already fully derivative; as it's a report, and tech reports aren't some great artistic projects, where you should see all the soul and effort possible put into it. Man just wants to let people know what's the current stare of emulation, and he's not comfortable with sharing his own voice, for reasons we don't know, but should respect.

I think that currently !play doesn’t even compete with PCSX2, but it’s always good to have alternatives. If a game runs poorly on PCSX2, we can test it on !play.

Create a new Mii in your favorite emulator.
Ryujinx > File > Open Applet > Mii Edit
Yuzu forks > Tools > Open Mii editor

Wish I could play M@rio K@rt 8 on Citron but I tried everything to install the firmware files to fix the Mii start up freeze and nothing works :/
Create a new Mii, it will work.

So I changed from Citron Dev (that one you posted the other day) to Citron Canary and now everything works as intended.

I have same problem yesterday on yuzu mario kart stuck on select mii, I just delete all prod keys and firmware, add new prod and firm 19.delete save data, and remove pipeline caches. And Mario Kart 8 Work perfect. If you don't understand search it, I watch that video, its easy

Would like to know your oppinion, is this last version of Torzu better than Citron Canary 0.1 in terms of Performance? i noticed this Citron version was even better, but want to know other gamers oppinions too so i don't have to download Torzu again, since Yuzu was gone, i later was on Sudachi and with Ryujinx GreemDev, deleting the rest that were outdated now, Citron is what i been using since it got better than Sudachi😄
Unfortunately, it's really hard to know what exactly has improved in Torzu, because its development happens exclusively on the dark web. I would need to go to that community to see what users have been saying about the project and what they've been testing. Unlike the Citron discussion communities, which are all open and I see a lot of people testing games that I would never think of testing, so I get to know the challenges each one faces and where the project stands out.

Latest yuzu ea build still plays all games i play with the latest one being Luigi's mansion 2 hd remaster so i think yuzu is still relevant for a the majority of titles

I was sat going, "This cadence, this odd delivery, is this an AI voiceover?" Then it said, "Zero zero seven GoldenEye." And I went, "Yep. AI." And clicked off the video.
While I do like a human-voiceover better, an immense amount of work and documentation went into writing the script for this. Definitely not something AI could have generated.
The video is still great, AI or not, it doesn't bother me. Go live in a cave if u don't want people to use AI. Time is passing, technology is evolving, get over it.

I don't know, i'm the first person to complain about AI, but used in this type of content it really doesn't bother me.
The video is already fully derivative; as it's a report, and tech reports aren't some great artistic projects, where you should see all the soul and effort possible put into it. Man just wants to let people know what's the current stare of emulation, and he's not comfortable with sharing his own voice, for reasons we don't know, but should respect.

I think that currently !play doesn’t even compete with PCSX2, but it’s always good to have alternatives. If a game runs poorly on PCSX2, we can test it on !play.
It’ll take play! 4 years to be like PCSX2 2029-2030 the dev is almost their to making all his games 99/100 playable
@vinodford1448 thats good , if indded the devs are working hard , is always nice to have multiplenoptions for emulation , but in its curent states , play! Vs pcsx2 , pcsx2 is miles ahead on everything
