Why the Summerboard is not for winter: how I upgraded to the v2 motherboard and batteries

- Summerboards are great, but cold weather can destroy the batteries. In this video I replace my dead batteries and motherboard with the new second generation ones in order to get my Summerboard working again.
Left my V2 Battery on my board over the winter. Something happened, it had a problem.. SB says it was a resistor issue in the batteyr, luckily, I still had warranty and got a free replacement.. The battery discharges if it's connected to the board, so always top up your battery if you're not using it for a while. Unfortunately, I didn't turn my board on for about 6-7 weeks and it wouldn't turn on. I managed to charge it back up, but after that, I had the red blinker of death and it wouldn't recharge back up. The new V2 battery looks a lot cleaner than the V1 battery, I think it's the BMS circuit board issue? I'm trying to remove it and see if I can put another BMS on and save the batteries?..
it's too late now, but you can switch/correct the direction of the castor wheels inside the app if you ever plug them in wrong. Just so you know for future purposes!
That's great to know. Thank you for the tip!
The v2 twice gave me charging issues with thr v2 batteries and motherboard they have given me 50 percent off to get 1 new batterie and 1 mother board for 276 with shipping to help 50 percent off.
After installing the motherboard my new battery was just flashing red then I plugged it in then white and the stock batteries just turn yellow so now the battery won't turn on at all after switching a and c and switching them back still nothing very disappointed rn
Did you email Summerboard yet? What did they say?
