As a former member of many fandoms old, and many new, I can tell you for a bloody fact that friendships make it past the sell-by date. Take it from an adult who has had most, if not all of his friends pass away, leave the country, and or move off to somewhere else, and still have contact and times together none the less (infact one called me yesterday, prob gonna get some drinks with that bloke soon enough). In any case, G4 is ending, like all things. But I don't see that as a moment of sadness (well I do, but those are personal reasons). As to what it is, G5 will be it's own thing, and I am not one to hope for the future without knowing the need be data, but G4's fandom (and by extension your friends), arn't just gonna drop off the face of the Earth. Hell, I am from the /mlp/ boards on my official tag, both here and on youtube, and I can tell you for a fact we're not goin' anywhere. As it is, we will be fine, you lot will be fine. The fandom isn't going to pass on, nor are your friendships. As a great man once said, "It's not the time that matters, it's the people." And indeed it is. So don't let the last moments be brought with depression and sadness. Do not let your end be stained with the thoughts of desperation. But instead, smile. I was greiving far more than I had In a long time. At first I thought it was because it was that id never get to go again. But then I realized it wasn't just that. It was that I was afraid that after it ends. I wouldn't see all of you again. But now I realize that a show won't end the friendships. Or the channels you made. Thank you. To all of you. Even if Brony Con is ending, MLP has maintained a gained a presence at other conventions! Comic Con has many artist booths, including those with MLP creations! If you were to end up in Portland for Wizard World or Rose City comic cons, my friends and I have been going to almost every one, so I'd definitely be saying hi! But no matter what, you've grown as a community! I personally fell in love with this community because of the personal bonds that you all share! And I do believe that this is something that will continue to grow throughout your lives!
It's been a long time coming and much like you, Bliss, I've only just got into this fandom and while I've only seen bits and pieces of the series, the content you and the others make are just as fun, if not more so than the series itself. Hope you guys have a blast at the last Bronycon.

Bronycon 2019 was my first time going to a mlp con. My boyfriend wanted me to experience it but i never had the chance. I know you guys had a good time at least. Bronycon was the last convention i got to attened with my boyfriend he just passed away this year and we were looking forward to seaquestria fest in ocean city MD. Keep your friends close and your happy memories in your heart no matter the distance your friends will always be with you. Keep being a awesome content creator and never give up.
I will be attending the last BronyCon oh, I can't wait to meet you and Ian and the rest it'll be a great experience for my first time. I will be cosplaying as my own OC character as the Iron Chef Minotaur you'll see me in a chef hat and a chef outfit
Bronycon, as well as the show, has had a good run (even though I was only able to go once). I went to the last one, and I enjoyed my time there. The drive down from Connecticut at 4 in the morning was worth it (I wasn’t alone, thank Celestia). I will try to attend more MLP conventions in the future

I've been in the fandom since 2015, yet I've never been to a single pony convention. I wish I come go, but due to a family roadtrip already being planned out for September and possibly military service. There's no way I'll ever be able to attend Bronycon. Before I joined this fandom I was sad almost all the time I didn’t want to do anything because I felt like anything I do I would be judged for it. I was bullied everyday and had objects throw at me and i didn’t think i had a friend I could go to if I felt down, then one day I looked into my little pony friendship is magic I don’t know why I did but my life hasn’t been the same since. I’m happier then I used to be and I realized that i have a lot of people to turn to if I’m sad, all I had to do was look. It’s been 3 years since I joined and I know it may not seem like that long, but I have grown attached to the show and I will miss it, but all good things have to come to an end at some point.
I'm sure there will be more conventions when Gen 5 starts. It will be quite an adjustment for many (including myself), but we should be happy that MLP: FiM lasted nine years in the first place. It was supposed to stop just after Season 3 when Twilight became an Alicorn. We will never forget Gen 4 since it is essentially laying the foundation for Generation 5.
You guys wont stop doing tf2 vids or even funny skits right i adore u guys as a group there is something. Both magical and beautiful about your friendships i would hate 2 see u all stop having fun just because mlp is ending keep being an amazing bunch :)

To lighting bliss and all of her amazing friends: my name is Logan Kerr i am a brony that hails from Indiana and for the last 6 years i have been a fan of MLP ever since the 1st EQG movie. i have been following your videos since 2014/2015 and some of your guys and gals videos have helped me through some difficult times in my life. unfortunately i will not be able to attend BronyCon and i never had the chance to go to BronyCon ever. knowing that this is the last one makes me feel really sad :'( that i never got the chance to meet any of you. but i know that there is a silver lining to this, that someday i will get the chance to meet all of you and hopefully become great friends with each and everyone of you. i just want to say from the bottom of my heart thank you for all that you have done since 2010. i look forward to meeting you all one day and like D-money Lol said "the friendships u made in this community will never die."

The way I’m keeping my little pony going making my own comic book series about it! It’s going to be alternate universe of my little pony it’s gonna be really epic!! There’s going to be new villains new friends ponies you name it but some of the scenes can be a little bloody sometimes like They say it’s fun to be dark sometimes! Always remember we will always be with you and have a great time

NO NOT THEY FEELS.. Jokes aside I agree with Doctor wolf just because BronyCon is ending does not mean the friendships and memories we had will leave us. There will be other conventions or we can all meet up again Cheryl laughing catch up with one another.
I've been in the fandom since 2015, yet I've never been to a single pony convention. I wish I come go, but due to a family roadtrip already being planned out for September and possibly military service. There's no way I'll ever be able to attend Bronycon. Before I joined this fandom I was sad almost all the time I didn’t want to do anything because I felt like anything I do I would be judged for it. I was bullied everyday and had objects throw at me and i didn’t think i had a friend I could go to if I felt down, then one day I looked into my little pony friendship is magic I don’t know why I did but my life hasn’t been the same since. I’m happier then I used to be and I realized that i have a lot of people to turn to if I’m sad, all I had to do was look. It’s been 3 years since I joined and I know it may not seem like that long, but I have grown attached to the show and I will miss it, but all good things have to come to an end at some point.

I'm sure there will be more conventions when Gen 5 starts. It will be quite an adjustment for many (including myself), but we should be happy that MLP: FiM lasted nine years in the first place. It was supposed to stop just after Season 3 when Twilight became an Alicorn. We will never forget Gen 4 since it is essentially laying the foundation for Generation 5.
You guys wont stop doing tf2 vids or even funny skits right i adore u guys as a group there is something. Both magical and beautiful about your friendships i would hate 2 see u all stop having fun just because mlp is ending keep being an amazing bunch :)

I'm not sure if anyone is gonna see this. But since this is the last bronycon, does this mean the fandom Is over? I hope not. Because I got into the fandom back in 2012, and it's been an amazing community to me. Please dont let this be the end of this wonderful and amazing community

hey this is the military guy you met at whinny con 2018 that was in the ghille suit with all the beer... don't feel bad I have never had a chance to make bronycon and sadly didn't make 2019 due to was moving states so I know the feeling on feeling left out :(

Neither the fandom nor Bronycon should end. MLP technically isn't ending. We are just heading into the fifth generation of it, which by the way, I am super uper duper psyched for!
