I don't think people should be forced to serve, but I do feel all medically capable people should be forced to do boot camp. I have never been racist, but I grew up in all white communities. I learned SO MUCH during my enlistment. While attending training in Mississippi, I refused to do any buying in town when I learned women housed with me were afraid to leave the base, and why. As a female sailor, I faced bigotry from men who felt the Navy was a "men's club." A black chief, who enlisted during the 50's 😮 saw it, and shielded me from much of it. ❤️ (William, you will always be in my heart.) He requested to be my supervisor, and stayed with me until his retirement. And no, none of "that". I just subbed. 👍

Someone needs to initiate low tech communication. We are a massive army waiting to be united and led. And we are more than just one country. People around the globe need us to start something.
Exercise, do your best to control your own food production, make efforts to build real community whether through a church or some kind of social environment. Build bridges and speak out while peaceful resolution is still an option, buy arms and practice with your community so you can protect your families, neighbors, and property in the worst case scenario.

Hang Over Gang in the house! Salute to my brother and sister veterans. Being a fourth generation vet, that has TBI and PTSD, was homeless 3 years and existing under program for homeless vets. Now i have had more than one TBI in my lifetime in and out, so it becomes questionable on military related and only get 10%. Now i cook on hot plate and take cold showers because i can't afford to have gas on. If it wasn't for food boxes and food pantries I wouldn't eat. At this moment, I'm fighting eviction because the amount the VA gives me isn't enough to pay the amount required for me to live under their VA homeless program. Not to count the headaches, depression, anxiety and all the internal battle bull that comes with TBI. My ancestors fault for the Union, my three older brothers served. I remember when my two oldest came home from nam, if they fell asleep in a chair, their wives would wake them with the end of a broom stick. Remember my dad who was injured in the Pacific and what it did or my Uncle issues who was one of the 520+ pow vets rescued from death march, who's was missing the end of his fingers due to the rats eating on them. My grandpa and his issues from WW1. Oh shit, I'm sorry! I forgot, I'm white so that makes me privileged and racist. Erase the above and forget all i wrote, unless you want to talk about a generational curse looks like. Just saying.

Tom is changing minds...in over the 3 years I've been watching Tom reactions, I have literally seen a transformation of minds in several reactors. These are reactors who originally did not agree with Tom or his music. Part of the problem is that it has become normal to refer to people as: African-American,Mexican-American,Asian-American, etc. We are all Americans period. Unless you have dual citizenship and spend half of the year in another country as a citizen of that country you are an American.
I was raised not to pay attention to skin color. Base my impression of a person based on their character. The Army I served in 1988-2001 backed up what I was taught by my parents and grandparents. I served with many men and women and we didn't see color. We could come and go as we pleased. Nobody stopped us and said this is just for this group or that group. We were a family. In life today I don't care who you are, where you came from. I love you as a fellow human being. We can all help each other, no matter what.
