@Ripthescript I had the same problem before, make sure you use the old SE USB cable (which was provided with the phone) , it wouldn't connect with the new one

OK this looks great so far. i changed my theme from the unattractive Rogers one. im now able to use my songs as ringtones, and im able to connect to the internet!! this is amazing. To get it to work i had to chose Baltic as my region instead of America(where i live). To get my internet to work i went to sony ericsson site and had them sent me my internet settings which was a breeze. youtube works as well without problems. Thank you LCARSD for support and guiding. 5/5!
it shows in the bottom right corner just like when you connect a joystick only it says something diffrent (There are some caps letters and then Downloader) but the a2uploader won't detect it.I'm using a c902 PS: i have noticed when you press the FileSystemTool button the status bar at the bottom keeps moving but mine is frozen.You think that has to do with something?
How do I get the newer version? any place I can get it from? Because it's not problem nr.2 it doesn't keep hanging it says 'ready' on the bottom like when it's done loading the file system. So I think I'm gonna need a newer one. Tnx in advance.
I just bought a SE W995 and I have a problem when playing songs with it. when I transfer musics from my PC to the phone most of the songs dont play, it just says "failed" and some of them only plays for a minute than says the same thing "failed". Sometime it plays 2-3 different song in the same file ! what I want to ask you is that if I Flash and Debrand it (O2) will my phone get fixed.

I was trying to unlock C905 but i think the software got stuck in the process at the 'restarting phone' part. I didn't have much of a choice but to abort the process and remove the phone from the usb. But when i tried turning it on it won't turn on now. it will connect to my computer through A2uploader. what do u suggest?

@LCARSD sorry for asking so many questions. the problem im having is with part 2 in the activiting the flash menu. i got the theme or i think that is the theme... called Glassy Blue and this wont let me open it in the theme creator. And at the moment im trying some new. I downloaded some from the thing called "flash theme" called psp. and its a (.dm) and in the video at like 5:40- 6:00 you drag swf file. where did u get that? please help

Just unbranded my new sony ericsson c905a! Process was simple and completely free! Had a lil mishaps at first, like I made the mistake of choosing American instead of West European. So make sure you guys choose West European instead of American and it will work like a charm! Lost a few games, but that's a small price to pay for what you get.

if you click right arrow in CDA generator it expands the list, not sure if this is the correct way though because although it did allow SE to update, my phone it's still branded

Hey when i am debranding my C510 I get to the screen to update using the update service and i get the message " no new software is available for your phone " and all i can do is exit. It doesnt seem to be "debranded" tho

Ive found out when I do the Unbranding step .. (Customize_upgrade) copy to the custom its ok... after I shut it down it seems like updating but just for 4 secs. and the line doesnt come to the end!! Later I checked if the Customize_upgrade is still in the Custom folder *in the A2 option...* and its just gone... Can it be the problem that somethin blocks it?
theme is truly badass but i used a generic america f/w without loading customize_upgrade.xml and screwed up some icons say "oper specific", my camera won't save any new pics, sms inbox wont open, where do you get the xml and is it operator specific. im using a china f/w but my operator is t-mobile us - n. america

you should use different region when you create your xml file. it worked for me!

when u say CDA do u mean change the phone model or the region/branding. also is there a difference with c510 and c510a when it comes to debranding?

Debranding the phone will make you lose your MMS and internet settings right? and you have to get them back from your provider?

i have c905 o2 brand and i debranded it but in menu do not show play now icon its show home page. Why? And how to get play now icon.

Do a master reset. Then move your XML file over. Then check for update. I had the same problem and that fixed it.
should i do this each and every time i want to add a flash menu. os is it a one time process?

how do you know if the debranding process has worked because i can't change my shutdown screen am only able to change the start up

just install gordon's gate flash drivers (you get them with a2 uploader cid 53 version)and that's it!!
