Thank you! I agree with you 100% about the pipboy! My friend made those components but we still wanted to show them for the video even though we did not have the step by step process!
Hi! I would suggest checking out Etsy.com! There are tons of sellers there would make the PipBoy. Here is one I found: www.etsy.com/listing/218242859/sale-pipboy-3000-3dprinted-diy-kit?&gclid=CjwKEAjwgtTJBRDRmd6ZtLrGyxwSJAA7Fy-huPBMtAn6xxsWq-WAdBVPDfZHv2jMH5dxR_IZpUmFDxoCOM3w_wcB
Okay guys I do have one question for you most of the Vault suits that I've come across have a yellow band around the waist why did you guys leave that out
Hi! My friend wanted a belt that we show at the end of the video so we decided not to add the yellow band around the waist because it was not needed. You could totally add a yellow band though!
We used the entire bottle- but this is something that I would suggest testing because it is not something that we measured out. We basically filled up the pot and added water and just tested to see if the color looked correct. We also soaked it for an hour. Make sure to check the instructions on the dye you use. Hope that helps!
I know this is 4 years late, but I want to do this for my first cosplay and was wondering if anyone know what I can do since I don’t have a silhouette cameo and don’t really want to spend that much money on one for one costume? Thanks!
Hi! We used yellow duck cloth (or yellow canvas) that we found at Joann's. You can really pick whatever color yellow you want though. My friend also dragged the suit through dirt and rubbed it on his car to give it a "dirtier" look. And you don't need the Cameo to print the numbers, you can always trace them out on your computer and cut by hand! (I'd recommend straight numbers like 1 and 4 if cutting out by hand!) Good luck!
Gonna take a crack at my own vault dweller costume. Your video was great, and you two are an amazing duo. Thanks for the inspiration!

Where did you guys get the numbers from?

Hi! You can also just trace the items out by hand! Either freehand the font or print the font out and use that as a guide! Hope that helps!
Awesome! If only I had a 3D printer.. :/
Any chance you'd be willing to sell one a pipboy to someone who doesn't have a 3D printer? :P
