      This is by far the best version. The only person who came close to Sofronitsky's rendition is Morton Estrin. He was incredible, but he too passed away. None of the living pianists touch me nearly as much.

      I wouldn't say Jascha Spivakovsky's version of Rachmaninoff's Op. 32 No. 5 is better, nor worse than Vladimir Sofronitsky's. But Jascha Spivakovsky's sound is startling. ruclips.net/video/sPGhUKKcNjY/видео.html. Constance Keene's version (ruclips.net/video/geXr8tsTaCE/видео.html) is also very beautiful and highly acclaimed, though played at a quicker tempo.

      The version of Nino Gvetadze is equally impressive. Different. But I like both versions. ruclips.net/video/AbiKfovuWNU/видео.html
