DL Hughley made a good point about if Biden could not continue during a second term there is a capable vice president who could take over. If I was VP Harris I might be feeling some type of way.
If Biden is not leaving the race he is still top of the ticket. Harris lost in the primaries and that’s why she’s not currently that doesn’t mean she can’t run the country. So not sure what kinda way she should be feeling.

The President had a busy and stressful schedule in June. His son, Hunter trial started (June 5th). Biden made back-to-back trips to Europe, 6/5 - 6/9 France and 6/12 - 6/14 Italy. During the period 6/9 -6/12 he flew back from France, spent time with his family in Delaware (note: Hunter was convicted 6/11), then flew to Italy. He flew to California to participate in a fundraiser, 6/15-6/16. This is the same fundraiser that George Clooney referenced. With that kind of schedule, a 25-year-old who worked out every day wouldn't be at their best. Note: They are not asking him to immediately resign. If he did Vice President Harris would become President. This is about Biden not being able to finish a second term. If a President cannot finish his/her term it is the duty of the Vice President to do so. It has happened before, and the country didn't fall apart. Harry Truman, Lyndon Johnson, and Spiro Agnew succeeded FDR, JFK, and Geral Ford (who replaced disgraced Vice President Spiro Agnew). This is about Kamala Harris possibly becoming President.
This is about our VP. Nothing more.

Biden could change the game later today by resigning and handing the presidency over to Kamala Harris. This changes the whole narrative away from the RNC convention and makes the process much simpler.
