With the draft being pretty stacked with lineman, I'd be fine if we took Bowers in the first round and then someone like Roman wilson (Wes Welker type) in the second and still get a legit lineman in the third
@jaimeurenda4066 That would be an opinion Smart guy. It can happen. Bowers is a borderline front runner for the 5th pick and this dude even said in his draft video Roman Wilson is the most realistic in the second round being from Michigan (with Harbaugh) and that the draft was heavy with lineman. So idk if you actually watch these videos, football in general or you just talking out your a** but idk as a fan how this take was horrible 😂 pls tell me.

We'll have 8 picks in the draft because we should be getting a comp pick for Dru Tranquil. We need to trade back to get more pics. In this exercise I'm not going to try and guess who we resign, plus Mack, Williams and Bosa are all cap casualties and Lindsley is gonna retire.
Mack had a great season so he is more of a trade possibility than a cut player , I can see us unloading Mack and his huge contract to another team for a late third round pick also bosa should be a trade for a 4th or 5th round pick , Mike Williams will be hard to trade with his injury history/age/contract , so he might be an outright cut player , heard people say we could trade bosa for a 1st round pick ? I don’t think there is any team that would give up a first round pick for him at this point in his career
My dream scenario for the bolts is either bowers at 5 or trade down with someone like minnesota, denver, or vegas and get terrion arnold frrom the 11-15 range. Sounds crazy but bowers could even still be there in that range because we realistically are the only team that would probably take him until like the colts at 15. Bowers is generational and would be the ultimate piece for herbert imo, but if we get great value because a team wants to trade up probably to get either daniels/mccarthy, we should take it. The reason I'd prefer Bowers or Arnold is because this WR and OT class is deep, and i mean deep. We could still get an amazing player in rounds 2/3. Only other scenario that might be possible (and this is only if we trade bosa AND mack), is trade down to 8 with atlanta and select dallas turner to pair with tuli.
@@codyferrel4253 exactly. reciever and o-line class very very deep and i do think QJ deserves one more chance after he has an offseason to learn from keenan and mike while having some nfl experience
Stop it with getting receivers! We got one last year that was misused. Plus, Chargers will be more of a running team than before. We need a Dtackle, and next an OT. We will win in the trenches
Plz watch charger football n then think abt who we should take. Mike Willams is getting cut because hes a cap casualty he’s fragile and abt to be 30 Keenan Allen has one more year with us realistically QJ is an over the middle/YAC guy once harbaugh uses him right now then Palmer is good but not enough even then he can be ok at times the chargers need to get a WR this draft because they will never been this high in the draft again for awhile the chargers need to get nabers at 5 or odunze even but nabers is obviously better. The Chargers maybe have other needs but so did the bengal’s when they took Jamar chase. Nabers at 5 or bust
@@lurx1068 I have watched alot of Chargers football and I know throwing the ball 70 percent of the time is not the answer. Quentin Johnson is a big receiver that we got last year and can be a great player but was not taught right his rookie year, but that was with Staley. We can get speedster receiversin the 4th, 5th round. But if you know Harbough, his football teams win by winning the line of scrimmage. And that's the way we'll win. Make the other team quit by beating them up!
@@whatnow5847 In general, I see your point. However there's an exception to the rule, and that's the top three receivers in the draft. Odunze is better than people think. Like some sort of unholy chimera of Mike Dub and Slayer. He ripped my heart out twice this year. And Bowers can be the Mark Andrews everyone wanted a few years ago. WR/TE are the only exceptions I'd make for actually staying at #5. For anything else trade down. But I think in that case our first pick needs to be Offensive line. Whether that's tackle or center, doesn't really matter to me. And if we trade down we can still get a really good d-lineman in Round two as well as maybe a center or corner.
@@kyletucker3811 more often than not these draft picks don't pan out to their hype because college is not the NFL. With Harbaughs offense the play calls will be more 50/50 or maybe 55/45 in favor of running. Another high pick receiver will be underused if the ball does not go to them. I don't mind getting an OLine first round, but we have invested in OLine alot in last few drafts. We haven't really drafted in DT high in the draft, I don't mind dropping back a few picks but our sorry line of scrimmage game needs to stop the run alot better.
Please no Joe Alt. It's getting so annoying seeing the mocks with us taking him. We don't need a tackle. We need a C for the oline. Either Nabers at 5 or trade down for Bowers or Odunze.
For weeks now, my head hurts from all these back & forth mock draft scenarios, lol ... I think I'm gonna give my aching brain a rest and wait until *after* the Combine to see exactly who's stock will rise/fall between then & April... ☺️ Happy draft dreamin, everyone! ✌️
Yes he can! And he's a nasty dude. I'm a Ducks fan. Probably my favorite play from this past year is against Oregon State. He led the way in the O-line essentially stacking the OSU defensive line into a big pile. It was hilarious seeing it on the jumbotron on replay. He's also always looking to make a second block on running plays after knocking someone down.
I want to move down to 10-13 and pick up Taliese Fuaga. He is an absolute mauler in the run game, and an underrated pass protector with good technique. He didn't allow a sack in his three year college career. If we drop farther to the 15-25 range, im hoping for Jackson powers Johnson or the toledo cornerback Quinyon Mitchell. Maybe Jordan Morgan or Troy Fautanu if theyre looking for a right tackle. if we stick at five, its nabers all day for me, with bowers and alt next in line.
Michael you're often spot on.. however Keenan Allen is not going to get traded. All one has to do is listen to Harbaugh talking about his 4 favorite players on Bolts Keenan is one of the four. And Keenan is 14 years younger than Brady when he retired. Keenan keeps getting better and he made it clear he doesn't want to play anywhere else. Restructuring is a no brainer
Trading down would not be a shock at all. I wouldn't even be surprised if they trade down again in the top of the 2nd, or a second time in the first if they don't like what they see.
Trade down to 8 pick up fashaeu, Joe alt, brock bowers or arnold and pick up a wide receiver later in the draft since this is a deep wide receiver draft. Tight ends are hard to come by so if it were me id pick bowers
Agreed. There's Bowers, then a pretty decent drop to the Texas Tight End, then another decent drop to everyone else. I wouldn't be MAD at Nabers or Odunze, but I think we can find a couple good receivers in rounds 3-5. Especially if we get some really good draft capitol from a trade down and whatever we can get from trading any combination of Bosa, Mack, and Mike Dub. I'd prefer if we can keep Mack but he's probably worth more than Bosa in a trade.
@@jaimeurenda4066No, we don't have our receivers. Mike Williams is going to be gone. QJ isn't a #2, Palmer will need a contract in a couple years. Taking anything BUT receiver or Tight End at #5 would be dumb due to positional value. There are five tackles that are really good in this draft. There are also several corners. There is 3 top tier Wide Receivers.
Cornerbacks rarely touch the ball and can be taken out of the game by throwing to someone else. I can’t imagine spending a fifth overall pic on someone who spends so little time with the ball
imeurenda4066 exactly 💯 the only wr I would not be mad about at 5 is Marvin Harrison Jr IF he were to slide down but other than that no on Wr round one
We need a new WR. Mike Williams is likely gone, so is Guyton. That leaves 4 on contract on the roster. Davis is a return guy so 3 technically with Palmer being on a contract year. We absolutely need to grab another WR in this draft be it 1st round like Nabers or Odunze or later like Roman Wilson, Malik Washington, or Malachai Corley.
This is the Liar's Season, so skeptical of the level of Mims interest (and really, Fautanu seems more like a Harbaugh guy). The Chargers MUST get a center in this draft and need an extra 2nd to get Powers-Johnson. Like the idea of trading down to the middle of the 1st, getting an extra 2nd and possibly next year's 1st from their trade partner. Will definitely keep banging the drum for Jer'Zahn Newton in the 1st and a pair of Ducks in JPJ and Troy Franklin in the 2nd, then either Mizzou's Rakestraw or USC's Bullock to close Day 2.
Desperately want a trade down to 8 but still getting Bowers at that spot, dont know if Odunze (first name pronounced like the city) or Nabers would still be there at 8 but im a Bowers guy regardless
Nice, Michael, you are getting me thinking and I like it!! Say you fo go down to 8. An extra 3rd and maybe a 5, or 6th as well. If you an still get B.B. and a corner with the extra 3rd rounder. Ya still have a 2 and your own 3rd to get that center and tackle. Good job. Keep the vids coming!!
Trade back. Get what you can. Maybe a team wants to move up for a qb. Never object to an OT. Bowers seems like that guy. But I think we need help on all sides of defense
what we need is JJ mccarthy to continue to rise and rise FAST so we are able to trade back..i wouldnt mind trading back with the steelers for a 1 and a 2 and jaylen warren and with the WR depth in that case id rather have CB over nabers or odunze
Trade back to 20 for a draft haul and grab Jackson Powers-Johnson. Or trade back to 15 with The Colts and grab JPJ. Which player single handedly changes the dynamics of our entire offense as it stands now than JPJ? Pipkins is lack luster but we have him under contract and cannot cut him. Who’s our Center? 🤔
Travis Kelce and Rob Gronkowski weren't first round picks either... No guarentee Bowers will be that guy just because he's a first round pick prospect. Kyle Pitts was supposed to be that guy. Fast, strong, and athletic freak. He looks more like a bust!
If we keep Allen is another WR 2-3 worth a 1st now? After watching your Jessie Minter video I don’t mind getting one of the best corners when that position right now is our biggest weakness. The MVP the other night was the KC corners well should have been. I think corner/interior O-D line/blocking tight end/linebacker is more important with rebuilding this team. Out of all the blue chip players only Bowers I like. Not saying the others won’t be good. Kinda like everyone saying Bijan last year is generational when Gibbs was better. Last year a 6th rounder WR should of now been picked 1st
Imagine Jim Harbaugh trading Justin Herbert to Chicago for their two draft picks that they have. That would give the Chargers three first round draft picks in 2024 Harbaugh draft JJ McCarthy first overall proving his prediction that he would actually be the first quarterback taken in the draft you could get an elite receiver with your fifth round pick, and also a tackle with Chicago’s other pick this scenario may not sit well with charger fans, but it is a thought
The problem with that is you then have a player at the most important position that is unproven at best. A position where there are a lot more busts than success stories. Teams rarely trade top 10 QBs that are healthy with no personal problems. Nothing like that will happen this year. If Herbert struggles to perform with Harbaugh a year or two down the road then a trade like that would be more realistic.
I want to run by you all a trade theory that involves the Vikings or giants. Last week you had Harbaugh turn down a meeting with the Vikings for the head coaching job. Why? Because Harbaugh wanted to select McCarthy who he recently endorsed. Check the Fanduel odds. Now the Vikings are the clear favourite to select McCarthy @ +450. This trade would also block the broncos and raiders from selecting a quality QB. This trade makes all the sense in the world. So much so I’m betting on it! What do you all think?
If they want to trade down for o line, trade farther back for way more draft capital and draft our C in JPJ. We don’t need to draft a RT and make Pipkins an extremely overpaid Swing Tackle, especially with our cap issues. Arnold at any pick other than 11-15 is way too high for a CB. Trade to 8 with Atlanta and grab Nabers/Bowers/odunze in that order. No CB or RT is worth a top 10 pick and we don’t need a freakin LT. I wanna rip my hair out every time I hear someone saying ALT or Fash to the Chargers at 5. What’s worse is some dumb fuggin fans now starting to say Arnold at 5 just bc Twitter draft analysts and media are starting to say he’s CB1. Regardless if he is or not, no CB in this draft is worth it at 5. O line and CB are pretty deep this year. Can still grab Mitchell, Wiggins, Cooper, Kool Aide etc later along with o line and Center. Go get Hebert a damn blue chip weapon!!! He’s still throwing to Rivers weapons for Christ sake.
How about we trade up a spot, trade bosa and Mack for capital, then send those picks and a future 2nd for number 9, 10, or 11 this year and get bowers and Marvin Harrison junior and still get mims at 37 then grab a top tier back in the 3rd and all defense from the 4th through 7th and add an edge like Gregory in FA on the cheap. This solves our cap issue, solidifies the run and pass game, and with this GM we will hit on a starter or 2 day 3. Michael: how much would it cost to go up from 5 to 4 with Arizona? I’m thinking a future 2nd. And/OR…. Trade Allen for a top 20 pick? There’s gotta be a team with the resources to take Keenan off the books with championship aspirations and a sure thing for 2-3 years instead of a pick at 14-22ish
Another delusional chargers fan , no team is trading a top 20 pick for Allen , and Mack is at best a late 3rd round pick , bosa at best a late 4th or 5th rounder , chargers fans way over value what Allen , Mack , bosa and Mike Williams will bring back in trades , all are old af , and all are injury prone with massive contracts
@@alexvigil29 ummmm Mack generated a 2nd round pick in his 30s coming off of an injury and a huge contract cap wise. Keenan is easily a late 2nd, Mack is coming off 17 sacks. Right now he is projected going between 16-22 spot, im already settled for Bowers at 5, makes sense, you get blocking, catching, a top player who can change the game and mindset.
And yep there are some good centers behind JPJ… Frazier, Van Pran, Limmer, Nugent, etc
Trade down at least once, draft Jackson Powers, Draft Sainristil, draft AJ Barner.
Or instead of Jackson powers get Nugent AND Corum
With the draft being pretty stacked with lineman, I'd be fine if we took Bowers in the first round and then someone like Roman wilson (Wes Welker type) in the second and still get a legit lineman in the third
Horrible take. Respectfully
@@jaimeurenda4066 I didn't ask. Respectively.
@weztciide619 Wasn't answering you. Just stating the fact

We need 11 starters:
CB:1
C:1
RB:1
WR:1
TE:1
DT:2
FS:1
ILB:1
OLB:2
I'm not going to include backup's for now only starter's.
I’d add Allen to that list, need to free up a lot of cap space so we can sign more players
@@rosendocortez8937 Allen and Harbaugh both said that he wouldn't be going anywhere. He'll retire as a Charger plus they can restructure his contract.
@@alexvigil29 I wish there was some way we could keep Mack
Bro I either want Bowers or Arnold in the 1st
@@codyferrel4253 exactly. reciever and o-line class very very deep and i do think QJ deserves one more chance after he has an offseason to learn from keenan and mike while having some nfl experience
Haven’t even watched this video yet, But I see Terrion Arnold on the cover and I either want him or Bowers in the 1st rd
Excellent video
Malik Nabers !!
He's a dog for sure
We do need a tackle potentially, just not at #5.
For weeks now, my head hurts from all these back & forth mock draft scenarios, lol ... I think I'm gonna give my aching brain a rest and wait until *after* the Combine to see exactly who's stock will rise/fall between then & April... ☺️ Happy draft dreamin, everyone! ✌️
So many draft scenarios lmao 😂
JJ should go to Seattle Seahawks. . We should get JPJ . He can play center and guard
Fake news 😂 I've said many times Keenan is going no where, where did u hear I thought he would be traded?
Nah. Not no brainer. Not “no brainer.” /
How many WRs does Herbert need 🤦🏽♂️😂
Trading down would not be a shock at all. I wouldn't even be surprised if they trade down again in the top of the 2nd, or a second time in the first if they don't like what they see.
I could see trading down with Falcons and then again to the teens
Massive shade against vegas there 😂
👀⚡
I like that. Lots of good WRa to be had this year! 💯⚡
The positional value of a RT doesn't make sense at 5. If we pick at 5, it has to be to go get our CB1 or WR1.
We have receivers already...any round 1 picks on WRs is so dumb and we all will be pissed off again next year
@@jaimeurenda4066No, we don't have our receivers.
Bolt up so hard... 😂
😂😅
😤⚡🆙
I don’t think we need to spend our 1st pick on WR, we have way too many holes on this roster
Desperately want a trade down to 8 but still getting Bowers at that spot, dont know if Odunze (first name pronounced like the city) or Nabers would still be there at 8 but im a Bowers guy regardless
We are a run first team that needs bodies, trade down and build up the O and D lines first and foremost.
Thanks man 🙏
Chargers are taking Brock Bowers!!
Brock Bowers TE Georgia to the LA Chargers ⚡⚡⚡⚡
Trade back to 20 for a draft haul and grab Jackson Powers-Johnson.
Or trade back to 15 with The Colts and grab JPJ.
Which player single handedly changes the dynamics of our entire offense as it stands now than JPJ?
Pipkins is lack luster but we have him under contract and cannot cut him. Who’s our Center? 🤔
You cannot win a Super Bowl without a great tight end just ask Tom Brady just ask Kansas City you got to have him
Let's be real, the best option is to trade back for picks...
What about all the other teams who just had serviceable ones? Qb is the deciding factor, not te
@@michaeldc951Name one.
Lol yes you can.
Travis Kelce and Rob Gronkowski weren't first round picks either... No guarentee Bowers will be that guy just because he's a first round pick prospect. Kyle Pitts was supposed to be that guy. Fast, strong, and athletic freak. He looks more like a bust!
TAKE BOWERS AND LETS MOVE ON…DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT OVERTHINK THIS BOLTS FRONT OFFICE!!!
If bowers and Harrison were available to Chargers at 5, who would you pick?
Watch the falcons trade down to draft brock bowers
Where do you think Ekeler is going
"Bolt up so HARD" mm
Marvin Harrison Jr. is the best wr in the draft but he’s a Cardinal 😌😌😌 gl with Nabers or Odunze
They will take an o lineman. They also need an RB
I'd love if the Raiders trade with the cardinals and we get Harrison. 🤞
Malik Nabers would be a solid pick. Or, the Bolts could trade up in front of Arizona & draft MHJ...
BOWWEERRSSS
No TE at #5 please 🙏🏼. If we trade down it’s only going to be a few spots. We’re not dropping more than 3-5 spots.
Every Super Bowl winner in the last 20 years had a great tight end without a tight end you don't win a Super Bowl
We need trade back for NEWTON !
Yup Raiders scoop up all our guys
Bosa is a high risk high reward player. You don’t factor in the stupidity of half the league.
The chiefs and ravens won’t but the jets or someone stupid like that would drop a 2nd on keenan easily. We can shed 2 of these guys for 2 top 100 picks
@@alexvigil29 why so confrontational? There’s barely enough of us ( bolt fans) to fill a stadium nation wide.
