- Villages get to choose between Hunting, Farming, Fishing, Merchant, Forging, Crafting or a combination to generate an income. It is the goal of the villager to raise an army to defeat the werewolf either during the day when he is weak or at night when he is strongest. Teamwork is suggested but not necessary for victory.
The werewolf plays much like the villager in that during the day he must hide from the other villagers while doing jobs to build his own army. During the night the werewolf transforms and is able to hunt the other villagers. The werewolf has no team mates, though he can play the rest of the villagers because of his anonymity.

I miss warcraft, I wish it was more popular here as it used to be. There used to be a significant amount of people playing the game on the local servers but now there's no one else. They have a plethora of different games. Warcraft is like a game engine that can make and parody a lot of types of games. Story driven games, MOBA games, Survival games, mini games etc. This game was my childhood.
Man, the talk about HotS reminded me of how much I loved it. Easily my favorite MoBA ever.
Makes me sad to think of hots, really genuinely wanted to go pro and they gutted it

It's a bit like the Test of Faith map, but it's a TD instead of a challenge of microing, with save system for replayability.

I think part of the reason people (include myself) like YouTD is similar to people who enjoys roguelike games;
that you have some element of randomness, different builds to work/experiment with, can hunt for awesome gears, and long term progression thru a save system.
And the game mechanics in terms of tower ability really have some interesting stuff in it, for example:
the [Skink] tower, my favorite and maybe the most op early game tower from nature element, has an aura that provides nearby towers to do stackable dots,
which scales with the skink tower's spell damage bonuses, and auto adjusted with each affected towers range and speed.
There's also a modified version that gives you super good chances of finding items.
It's just a bit hard to grasp for new players, and you kind of need to know which towers are good beforehand to really start enjoying the progression.

I remember being obsessed with Werewolf Transylvania. I would get dig that lifesteal thing in 2 locations, reveal some ghosts for idk what reason now xD. I tried checking it in Garena but I can't play there anymore. :(

I really like survival chaos, even with it's high rng, you can win a lot of game(like 75% honestly mostly because there is no mmr and the game is surprisingly skilled), my biggest complaint is that the mapmacker f'ed the hero aggro in one update making the melee hero target the range ennemy in priotity so you get those retarded situation where your hero eventually goes throught the ennemy waves which mean that he's not defending your base as he should.
