Here’s a revised version: People often misunderstand Malcolm X’s words, interpreting them as more hateful toward white liberals than intended. He pointed out that white liberals tend to prioritize peace over equality or justice, often choosing to work with white conservatives rather than ensuring true equality for all.
I happened upon your video and during the course of it I noticed the gentleman wearing the "Stop competing" t-shirt which reminds me of a quote by Zen Shin - "A flower does not think of competing with the flower next to it, it just blooms!" Just thought I'd share that with you. Also, great video!
The Jock: Malcolm X said a great many things. Especially about American society and race; most of which was ignored--by liberals AND conservatives. What he ACTUALLY said, (about liberals) was: "The white conservative is, on the outside--what the white liberal is, on the inside." I used to wonder if, in fact, there was a sociopolitical difference between the two hosts of this channel. I find it quite revealing when conservative whites flagrantly use Malcolm X's words to attack progressives. The political "left" and "right" of American politics has always been a manufactured smokescreen. As Malcolm said: "On the inside?...they are the same thing." E Pluribus Unum (out of many, one) Yep.
