@@robofish7529 Nothing official but the last chapter out was 2 years ago and I can't find any raws past chapter 6. It has 78 WN chapters and states ongoing but I would say this is a lost cause.

The 2nd princess was kinda stupid by just taking away a friend from a friend and try to get them distance from each other, the holy maiden/ the princess was going to find out anyways it was an canon event and basically explained what's the purpose of her job. Now she lost her sister (i think if she even cared). And Mc friend i kinda wanted him to go with them.

Personally if 2 people were summoned I'd think one would be the hero fully committed to his quest and the other being plan b as trusting the fate of the world to one person is kinda like putting all your eggs in one basket
So while they are both in the area the hero has been activated for the mission but plan b will auto activate 2 weeks later they will both seek to complete the same mission by different methods and the opposition would only notice the hero and will most likely ignore the alternate until the plan b subject which has secretly been training and keeping a low profile exploring and finding whatever might assist on this mission
Think like legend of zelda sky sword you play as the equivalent of plan b as you activate after something happens and are berated by some lady that is on the same task only for you to receive thanks when you arrive to their rescue to prevent the joint task from failing
So in summary both are heros one now one in 2 ish weeks the second having more chill training as the first is keeping the opposition preoccupied so the second has time to be more prepared for the event if the first falters in its task if the first completed the task without a hitch the plan b candidate will have at least assisted towns and stuff in a small way to minimise the damage caused by the opposition as what's the point of defeating the deamon king if the economy is now ruined and the destruction exceeds recovery limits
So candidate 1 deal with the threat candidate 2 assist towns to prevent collapse and hinder hostile forces then assist candidate 1
Smart, One to deal with major problems, one to deal with the aftermath and minor problems (and if needed, become the one who deals with major problems).

I hope the MC gets payback on the princess or the princess realizes her mistake and tries to redeem herself, but the MC gives her the same ( if not, worse) treatment she gave him
He kind of got a bit of pay back earlier than a lot of these types of series, where're or not she'll reflect and change her view is another matter, she could contuine being a airhead but then the other princess, is not much better thou she knows who the hero is!

I'm not sure about this, but I think the second princess knew the main character was the hero, but kicked him out so he and the first princess wouldn't meet; that's what I got from the short backstory anyways

I really hope there´s a plot where the younger princess actually knows Yuuto is the hero, but was trying to get rid of him anyways to "get her sister back". There´s some foreshadowing, but maybe I am expecting too much...
It’s not a bad theory. You can even take it one step further by adding the summoning circle could have been made by the first princess, but making it takes all day and uses a lot of mana. So the first princess was passed out from the ordeal and the second princess took her chance to give fate the middle finger. That can even compound into the second princess finding out the story the older sister tells is a lie and in the real story the saint dies for the hero in the end so she is trying to save her from that cruel fate.

This could imply the summoning be like a traditional ritual in some case of speculation.

From what little I can recall of the story-line from this manga. The reason why two "hero's" were summoned is fairly simple, the summoning used a specific name instead of requesting "the" hero. The two who were summoned each bear half of the name. The information came from the light novel.

Is there a cultural reason why all these stories have an mc that is obsessed with the taste of food, and how it is trash compared to earth? There's a LOT of worse things in that world to worry bout my dudes
Well, historically, commoner medieval food tastes blander, and things like bread were hard too, mostly because salt and spices weren't widespread or too expensive, but this thinking is weird in a fantastic medieval world where logistics never seem to be a problem.
It's lazy writing. It's an easy way to fill up the page with words without having to think up plot, world building, character development etc.

- I don't like the MC 99% of the time, he makes most of the other characters look decent in comparison.
How are we meant to care about this level of trash? Even the 'bad' princess comes off better than him.
- MC is removed from party/role because they are useless -✔
-... but they somehow became the next one punch man -✅ (double points if its the SECOND they leave...❌❌)
-the random modern technology in medieval times ("its MAGIC" as they all say) -☑
