Overall a pretty good list. A lot of movies I've never seen before, but I do love that Ratatouille is number 4 on the list! I would've been happy no matter where it landed (as long as it made it top 50 or higher).

I couldn't believe it when I checked to see how much they exaggerated the true story that they could have actually made the film twice as long and it's all real including the crazy plane crash

Interesting list. A lot I totally agree on, a handful I've never even heard of, some I don't get. Overall, nicely done, even if you did include Revenge of the Sith but left out New Hope and Empire!

Only 18 out of 100 I've seen, my favorites eventually just didn't make the list but I'd rather stick to them. I'd definuty add: the Colour of Money, the Last Boyscout, the Speed, the Mission: Impossible, the Passenger 57, the Double Impact, the Wasabi, the Demolition Man, the Broken Arrow, the Hard Target, Jerry McGuire, a Few Good Men and many others.

What's truly amazing about this list is that it contained at least 10 movies that no one will never see in another similar list .... and I totally agree on these particular movies!!
Of course this comes on the expense of other masterpieces such as Citizen Kane, Casablanca, Gone with the wind, Vertigo .... etc.

Of all time? Of course not. You can't have The Thing without Halloween, Taxi Driver without Dog Day Afternoon, Heat without the Magnificent Seven, Psycho without The Exorcist, 2001 without Jaws, Clockwork Orange without Rollerball, Monty Python without Blazing Saddles, Alien without Dawn of the Dead, Django without Death Proof...and you see where this is going; the pickins' are just too slim here for me. I get it, but... _see more films you might not have seen._

@@dontrah1838 Idk if you're referring to my comment; if so that may be from one perspective, though I wouldn't say so myself.There are some 'basic' films many people just won't watch regardless of their notoriety. I've _never_ seen the Godfather or E.T. and am older than these films. Some may think that odd, but I know people who just won't watch The Exorcist or Night of the Living dead, or would have no interest in classic comedy films like A&C Meet Frankenstein or Monty Python and & the Holy Grail, Which Way is Up or Kentucky Fried Movie. We might say they had no sense of humor or had unfounded aversion to horror films. I knew someone who only watched B&W movies, another who only watched Anime, literally nothing else. JMTs

I was putting off watching children of men for many years and when I finally did I wash shocked how good it turned out to be. Also very topical in today's world. The beginning is a bit slow though, so bear through it.

The first video that I see, that gives the proper respect for Fight Club...That man's novel is the second-best-ever movie before The Godfather, a true novel for men.

RATATOUILLE IM SOLD!!! I love you so much. Istg no one has it in their list. The most adult themed Pixar movie and why does no one have it in? It’s a masterpiece on every front and it’s my favourite animated movie

What makes it a masterpiece? I really don’t see what separates it from other Pixar movies. Does it somehow have a deeper moral lesson that I’m missing?

@@nicodiangelo7051 Fair enough. I’m not really on board with the whole subjective truth thing. I do think there is such a thing as objective truth. It’s just that some people get different viewpoints of it that others can’t always see. Which is why one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.
But there are some stories that we can collectively exalt as superior, profound themes. Like good conquering over evil.

@@TheMonkeyMan42 Eh, you’re not missing anything special. The Departed is probably my favorite Scorsese movie, but I think Scorsese is so overrated in general. Don’t blame anyone from keeping his movies off their list.
