Unboxing the New Ninebot Mecha Kit by Segway with Assembly Instructions

What makes it not compatible with the ninebot s max? Software? Connections? Or size? Just curious if someone had the inginuety to make it work.

Good question! For the most part, it mostly has to do with the removable knee bar attachment. Unlike the Ninebot S-Plus and S-MAX, the Ninebot S knee bar comes detached in the box. - Mikey

It is not compatible with the S-Plus, only the S.

How do you install it if you already have a Ninebot S does it come with removal tool?

Sorry for the extremely late reply there! According to the instructions, on page 9, it says, “Tools provided to remove the steering bar bracket of Ninebot S and Ninebot S-Pro”. Hope that helps! - Mikey

@@alexeaton5824 According to tech support in the US, it does. I have an older Ninebot S Max and they assured me it will work.

The Ninebot S MAX, unfortunately, is not compatible with the Mecha Kit.
Here is a list of supported models that work with it: Ninebot S, Ninebot S Kids, Ninebot S-Pro.

@@segwayontarioso will this work with the ninebot s2? If not why because it’s nearly identical to the ninebot s. The problem is that the mecha and s2 don’t pair to one another
