This is soooo super cute. Just stumbled upon this video after a little person said they wanted a puppy cake. I was going to try and make one using an actual puppy shaped 3D cake tin but couldn't find any. I wondered how you would make one with an ordinary cake tin - now I know. I am going to give making this cake a go and hopefully I can master something similar by the time the birthday arrives. You made this look fun and easy. Maybe the piping isn't as easy as it looks, but I think even if it looks scruffy it will be passable.
Hi, really liked how it turned out. I want to bake this cake for my son's 7th birthday. Can i use sonething else instead of fondant? I am not too much into baking, so want to keep things simpler.
Hi! You could probably use buttercream I icing for most of the fondant pieces - or even candy/sprinkles arranged in the same fondant shapes. I would recommend buying the fondant if you can - it is often sold in small quantities and really easy to work with ❤️ good luck!
