If I understand you correct on the end, every barrel has a slug with a certain ratio (lengt/diameter) that is going to work best? Where can I find more about this and how to calculate for my gun?

Quite correct. There is no published data. When barrels are made generally the factory will produce several numbers of barrels. The carbide tools invariably starts to wear out as material is cut out of a barrel. Due to the above not all barrel inner diameters are identical , especially in mass produced products. Therefore each gun has to be tested with a large weight, length and outside diameter and shapes of projectile/slug/pellets until the desired accuracy and velocity combination has been reached. Most reputable brands will offer projectiles in different diameters. Generally the twist rate of 1:12 inches as in Kral barrels should provide you with a good guideline of which weight and length of slug to use. However, there are various designs of slugs which have different ogives and different base styles. The task is to try them all. Enjoy your testing 😜. If it was a case that we could generalise it would take the fun out of the game. 👀

If you take the barrel off and use a cleaning rod to push a pellet through it should not be difficult to push, but not easy! Also it should be consistent along the length! Then examine the pellet to see if it has material gouged, is mishapen etc! You may need to polish inside of barrel to get it consistent and remove spots that are causing gauling, burs etc! Thats the best way to get the right diameter and tight groups in any barrel!

Does it come with a silencer adapter?

Hi, yes it is standard at the end of the shroud

Yes it does. It has a 1/2" UNF thread adapter, with a 1/2" thread protector fitted as standard.

@@pelletgunscom how did you get the 1/2unf to mate with the donnyfl m18x1 (emperor) since the kral has a 1/2 unf thread ? Where did you get the adaptor ?
