This partly references Chan’s journey as a 13 year old leaving his family in Australia to follow his dream of becoming an idol and his struggles living in a dormitory training for 7 years watching his friends either debut without him or be cut from the program and the emotional toll it took on him until he found his fellow Stray Kids.
You are correct. Chan had a soul sucking experience as a trainee. I can't imagine the personal hell he went thru. I only wish the world for him ❤
LiSA is actually the one who sings the Demon Slayer Opening Song so that should explain the anime vibe this song has! Also, I highly recommend checking out Felix’s solo stage from Dome Tour if you’re looking to see more solo work from him! Sadly there are only Fan Cams available for the performance so you wouldn’t have a great picture of his stage 😢
Edit: I also really recommend checking out a song Felix did with Changbin called “I like you”! You get to here more of Felix soft deep rap and Changbin’s beautiful vocals!

Having Felix come in right after Lisa's voice was genius.
Chan wrote this about his own experiences. His story is so heart wrenching. He left everything at 13 in Australia & went to Korea alone. He was basically alone for 6 years till he met Han. 😢 I remember him mentioning being literally alone in the dorms one year when everyone got cut from JYP & he was literally the only 1 left. Can you imagine being a young kid alone in a massive empty dorm. All his friends had debuted, & everyone else was cut. He made a decision never to get close to anyone again and ended up in a really dark place. He's made more than one reference to his mental health suffering during this time. Luckily he met Han & Changbin to form 3RACHA then later the rest of the boys & he said they saved him. 😢😭😭😭 He's literally a walking miracle. ❤❤❤❤ (Hence the levitation or ascending visual) He is so incredibly strong to overcome all he did. Knowing this made this song hit so hard.😢
This is written by Chris about his journey as a trainee to his rise up as leader of SKZ... leaving home at 13 to become a trainee, watching his friends come and go either by debuting before him (Bam Bam for example) or being cut from the program. He had very dark thoughts, became very depressed etc... Thank goodness JYP saw the genius in Chris and gave him the opportunity to pick his own group ❤️😍

This song represents Chan’s life as he grew up in the industry. He left home when he was very young in pursuit of his dreams to be an artist. LiSA is such a queen and I love her so much. The way the video was shot was really good. The outfit colors - they need to wear red more often. The song itself is very powerful and LiSA just made it even better. She is so talented as an artist and let me just say my anime heart was very happy I hope to see this as an anime opening one day ❤
When I read Chan's bubble conversation, he said we need to read between the lines. So, I'm sure it had to do with Chan's journey about leaving his childhood in Sydney behind to follow his dream in Korea. If you think about that is what they all had to do to a degree or another. He has been questioned a lot about why Stray Kids is on social media, and I wonder if this also talks about that. We, STAY, refer to Felix as the angel, and it is fun to see that they include him in wings in this video. I love love LiSA's sound with Felix! Interestingly, as difficult as English is for Lee Minho, his only (?) part is English speaking! That is impressive. I really, really love this song/video. It hits like "Victory" or a fight song! It isn't easy to forget Maknae on Top. :D

I'm so glad you got to this one Anthony! I've had it on repeat since it dropped! I think the meaning of this song is so relevant for so many people. And the fact that it could also be a anime theme song is just amazing 😊. I love Stray Kids music in general. But this song just took the top spot for me at least. Idk, I have my bias but as a fan of Stray kids I believe that SKZstill don't achieve what they can achieve, so them doing group projects is important. Solo-stans demand solo-work for everyone but there should be a good balance so SKZ won't become a group that "disbanded to early'
