On the verge of turning 30... I listened to this song the other day and haven't stopped playing it since. There's so much pressure to be perfect and completely certain with life at this age. Hearing someone younger sing these lyrics, is truly inspiring. Thank you.
In EU some of countries have this Norwegian MOT program, that deals with such topics starting from 7 graders. The program is all about, having: courage saying NO, courage to CARE for others and courage to LIVE your life. I am part of the program as a coach.
This song hits me so damn hard. The lyrics are a perfect translation for what it feels like suffering from anxiety and depression altogether while trying to survive and make through life.
This song rings to me like of what I have been through when was in college dealing with an anxiety disorder, “one-step away” from depression, and sometimes being an anti socialized. At the time, that music came out during college years. That puts me into a medicine of enjoyment.
I'm currently going through a lot of really difficult things in my life and am struggling with severe depression but this song seriously gives me hope and gives me a sense of happiness. Thank you for this masterpiece of a song
