Please don't just be Genshin. Be better then Genshin.
Good lord preach, I don't need another game where all u can do is pick mints as the only content💀
Real
Idk azur promilla looks like a hotter genshin with better combat
Genshing this genshing that .... When will they focus on the game itself? This is stupid. This is one of the reasons I hate genshing now.

Nice
Well, there's no man in Nikke, Azur Lane, & Blue Archive, but they're still successful games who earns millions for many years already.
The highest earning mobile game, competing with regular ones is a Japanese-only title called Uma-musume (ウマ娘 プリティーダービー); horse-racing with horse-girls apparently has the greatest appeal to those with the deepest pockets. This game outclasses even Genshin Impact, it's that big...
But then again they survive off the complete coomer audience which spend so much audience, and this game will as well............but that plan has shown to not really be sustainable for a long time
@@Taruby tbh, I wonder why UmaMusu is so successful despite being JP only. I don't really see much difference between it and other idol-raising/SIM games.
"No men in Nikke" correction. No playable men and no I aint just talking about the Commander avatar
@@Kris_King ........u know what they ment🤦♀️
Considering Azur Lane success, i have a lot of faith in Manjuu, especially with..
- incredibly expressive characters
- mounts
- companion system that's probably been in development longer than Palworld.
- Azur Lane is fairly F2P friendly overall
- Azur Promilia has fox mommy. SOLD.
Hopeful for a Beta this Summer. Earliest release date is October but due to their name change most likely not till January due to Chinese Laws.
Azur Lane is not just fairly free-to-play friendly. You can pull for every character easily without spending any money unless you have like an ungodly amount of bad luck and all the progression is not tied to spending money. They make their money mostly with skins and that is the golden standard for truly free to play games.
New Era will be beginning,
Casual players = Azure Promilia
Hardcore Players = Wuthering Waves
Wuwa still casual too. Real hardcore now is unending dawn. You check will see it. It is hack and slash but easier soul like a bit.
man this makes soo sense
Nothing should be "the next genshin" be your own thing inspiration is fine but don't intentionally try to be genshin but better its left Tower of fantasy a stigma magnet and made judging similar games fairly really hard
I hope azur promilia is just another great title in its own devised from any genshin similarities
Totally agree. I think the lack of creativity has always been a problem in the Chinese game industry - whenever a company creates a game that becomes popular, other companies just try to make dozens of similar games with slight differences. I genuinely hope that future games can explore more of the potential of the open-world genre and not just copy or combine successful games in the past.
This is why WW is evolving right now even before the release. The developers are trying their best to make the game to look more amazing like PGR.
3:44 Bro paused on feet.
Might not have male characters for a minority of audiences that will only play for hot anime males, buuuut it has cute little girls and cute little animals, plus the whole farming/housing system. Those WILL attract a large portion of the female audience or anyone that likes "cutesy" stuff or hardcore casualing.
Yep, they've literally perfected anime women. They said they don't know how to do anime dudes so instead of trying to do something completely unknown, they honed their craft of anime Women.
@@dankmemer6576bruh that npc male on the triller much better then itto from genshin 😂😂😂😂
"Don't know how to make anime dudes" but that one dude in the trailer was fuckin perfect. As a gaymer, I know me and my friends would eat that up. Sadly will skip this game though unless they change their minds and make playable male characters.
@@lionelmarcussolaris2858 They probably won't. It's the same in Azur Lane. They'll stick to what they know best
@@cherozkiahyusof4902 He's a chad allright. But i assume they mean they don't know how to implement physics or movement to male characters and what kind of those would be appealing to the audience. That would make sense, cause you know, you take a female jiggle a lil booba, a lil bootah, have them backflip with legs open, poof profit. What to do with males though?
Just to clarify in Azur Lane having no male playable characters, ships are refered to as "she", like cars or other vehichles. Yes even ships with Prince in the name or the famous Bismarck.

I think from all the "Genshin-like" games coming out now in the next 1/2 years I'm definitely most looking forward to Arknights: Endfield & Azur Promilia.
With the history they already have and all the experience I gained from their past games I know I can expect something worthwhile to come out.
Either way I'm hyped.
It's expected release date is apparently late 2024/early 2025, but I doubt they are releasing it so early and will try to polish & fill up the world more knowing that so many people seem to be looking forward to it now.
I mean, Azur Lane is females only and that sells pretty well still despite it being years since it's release. On gameplay, Azur Lane was made to compete with Kancolle, and while initially similarities were drawn on release, it's become it's own thing that stands on it's own. I firmly believe they will be pretty original with their ideas. On the gacha, theirs is pretty unique, it's incredibly f2p friendly, you'd have to try pretty hard to not get the character you want. They make up for this by making some really nice and (imo, though all of this is imo anyway) cost friendly skins.
Promilia is more of a casual collection game just like pokemon collect em all open world. Probably you'll spend for pet space, skin and oath item if it have any. Not having male characters is by design. They know who they want to sell it and only focusing only on them
Well based on the things they’ve said and shown us in this trailer it seems they r using similar features from AL in AP. Like after that 1st fight we seen they defeated multiple creatures and every1 on the team received plenty of EXP. imo having EXP items being farmable and being the main way of getting EXP and just feeding any character u get is just unhealthy, lazy, and not fun or rewarding. That’s why I love raising shipfus in AL so much, bcuz I have to spend time and effort raising them over time. After nearly 5.5 years I’m proud to have raised 451 lv120+ shipgirls and farmed all that gear for them all. Well, and then spending all that money on skins and wedding rings. Gotta take care of my girls, my beloved wives.
And then theres how they “addressed” the gacha system. They used words like they do in AL, making it sound like it’s there in name only, not in greedy practice like most of its competitors. Like ya, there’s a gacha system, but with how it’s put together u can effectively forget its there when getting waifus is concerned. Like in AL the only concerns we get regularly r if we have the money/gems for the new skin(s), ring(s), and if need be more dock space.
Let's be real here. Nothing is gonna kill Genshin. What matters, though, is how big of a niche other open world gacha games have. WuWa, in my eyes, is unfortunately not distinct enough for me to draw in a ton of people, and the only thing it has going for it is that WuWa is the first to come out of all the Genshin-likes and its combat. AP, however, has a clear niche: waifus and pokemon. Sure, going waifu only will diminish potential playerbase, but we're talking about an open world gacha game here. If there's no substantial amount of differentiating factors missing from Genshin, nobody will leave their game to play other games. Genshin, during Natlan, will mostly be a husbando region if they keep the tradition of alternating between husbando region and waifu region. Waifu players were burnt out during Sumeru but had no other game to satisfy their needs, so they begrudgingly stayed with Genshin. If AP comes out during Natlan, we will prob see a lot of waifu players trying out AP, and if anything, they will at least be playing both games. Also, waifu games simply have male playerbase spending more to somewhat makeup for the missing playerbase so there's that.
Oh my God that music when you talk about the saturation is from that one Wii game with the toy tanks isn't it??
4:25 "what does this remind me of?" Possibly Black Desert Online? The grouping up groups of enemies and CCing the shit out of them all while happy dopamine numbers and colours appear everywhere certainly reminds me of BDO farming. Even if the combat isn't as combo or attack chain focused as BDO, I'm fine with a more casual approach if they come close to how satisfying and smooth that combat style can feel.
I don't think that everyone will leave genshin for the female only gacha lmao, I feel like that clearly has a specific target audience lol
Looks like no Playable Male Characters. That's a deal breaker for me. I won't play it despite how good it looks. Same reason why I don't play other Female only games like Nikke, Azur Lane, and technically HI3. Also why I avoided Genshin for a year of it's release because I didn't like most of the Male characters especially with how Aether looked. I changed my mind when my friends showed me Chongyun, Bennett, and Kazuha. The only 3 characters that convinced me to play.
Yes you are right this time. I am excited for this game.
I heard wii play tank battle music and couldn't get that out of my head. Nostalgia hits hard lol
A gender locked playable characters game can’t fully steal Genshin‘s fanbase
Agreed. I think the big thing that might attract people to the game is the various critters and how the combat is handled. At the very least, I’m intrigued and the game is now on my radar.
True, while gacha games are becoming more popular now, the genre was heavily female character centric for so long. While there are many reasons that Genshin became popular, having male characters definitely expanded the audience for gacha games. So if a gacha wants to have a chance, it at least needs some male characters to get a bigger audience. Not saying that gacha's can't be all female (I am bi so a female lead game is fine with me, but I also like men) but they are limiting their audience.
The day we have proper buffed male gacha is the day I will try it. This one is not it for me.
@@Candytime9 There are shoujo gachas as well. It's just more common to focus fully on female or male characters, not both.
@@AdamTuxTengler I didn't say there wasn't, I just said it was a genre leaning more towards female characters, either all female or mostly female.
I cant wait for this game!
man i enjoy braxx so much. I wish he had more content like for example anime reactions or so, not on streams with chat, but alone. Would be so pog... Brax is best boi
Not gonna lie, this game looks shallow as f**k...
But if they follow the Azur Lane formula *less clothes = more power) I can certainly still see it succeeding regardless.
Genshin is feeling the pressure of new games coming out. They cooking some stuff for future patch 🤫
itll still be ass. II've seen it and it just looks poorly done

Thos game centering for waifure collectors aka like Nikke but open world instead is good for ppl who love open world.. definitely skip this becouse no husbandou's and WW is coming so ww instead.
This game has so much potential and I can't wait for it to come out! As someone who has played Azur Lane since launch I am very much looking forward to another game by Manjuu.
I'm definitely excited for this game
Won't be a genshin killer but it will dent genshin's player base heavily, as you said. And not having male characters makes it stand out because it will be the first big open world in doing it so it will make a lot of people curious to try it out.
Its sad that theres no male characters. Thats not really a standout trait - too many gachas are waifu only
As long as they don't have an Open World Grindathon, I might check this out.
I'd love to try it out but I'm ngl i may not have many characters to motivate me. No playable men means nothing will rly catch my eye immediately which is pretty sadge
Can confirm I am not playing this game because there's no playable male characters. I play Genshin, hsr and will play WuWa. It will be interesting to see the numbers of all of these games when azur promilia comes out and what kind of audiences they will attract.
The amount of Genshin future rivalry games that are gonna release is insane.
I have zero ideas why people demand male characters so much. I can apprciate a gacha without male characters it makes for a much better fandom and more focused selling point since the devs dont need to juggle omni pandering
No male characters means I don't think I'll play this. I'm not a "husbando-only" player by any means, I still pull a lot of female characters. But playing JUST female characters will bore the heck out of me
Well then u won’t enjoy AL bcuz the closest we got over there to husbundos is a few tomboys.
Look promising, Im definitely trying this game
Yeah, the no male characters is a deal breaker for me. And it's better this way anyway, I won't have to decide what gacha to drop for this this way.
8:50 somebody call Enviosity lmao
Please Cover Wuthering Waves
Sheesh, WuWa hasn't released yet and we already have a newer Genshin?
This feels more like wuthering waves than genshin
Looks better than Wuthering Wave.
They really went for a Genshin/Palworld vibe what i can see from this only focused on waifu's though i wonder if it has a story thats worth following.
Like Azure Lane its meant for the japanese otaku's more then anything since they have this stigma against male characters.
Genshin Impact related sponsor ad on a video about their potential competitor? Based?
What in the FFXIV Titania 😂😂😂
There was a rumor that there could be male playable characters and the degenerates started fuming so hard until they got coddled saying not to worry, female only. I’m all for female mostly units but I wouldn’t mind a chad being thrown in once in a while at least.
Dragon Mount / Anime 10/10
There's definitely a lot of ... visual appeal.
Release date?
I wanna say 2 years because it still hasn't been fully went into beta
No release date, not even any beta announcements but there is pre-registration. It's also been said that they already acquired a CN publishing license, meaning they are likely to release within a year of that, at latest early 2025 iirc.
the audacity... i didn't see tectone and tenha in the beginning.
This game not having male characters is perfect for gatekeeping the community and not letting what happened with genshin and hsr (cough cough robin) to not happen here.
Wuthering waves and now this?! Man i wonder how mu phone can handle 😅
10:18 those sweaty gamers talking sht on casuals.. casuals are different breed bro, they can keep a game alive :D
Character designs look relatively generic to me, basic anime fantasy game. They'd have to try a little harder then that. It does look fun, but it might just be a better Genshin, and nothing more, which means it would be successful with casual players
which is is why blue archive is based, 200 pulls pity no soft pity nor a guarantee HAHAHAHAHA
Honkai Impact 3rd but with more open world
No husbando tho so hard pass
Sorry but the Genshin killer stuff is cope. This game if trying to compete in the waifu collector genre. Everyone touting those games as proof they can succeed, are literally listing the reasons why this game will not get that much marketshare. Especially since this is trying to be more of a game with complex gameplay, than a gacha with a game attached like the other ones.
I don't know about Genshin but I do play play HSR and I'd rather not play another HYV game. I have only heard good things about Azur Lane though
Palworld + Genshin
I'm glad someone really pointed out how big of a deal it is to not have male playable characters. I don't really pull based on genders. Diversity really makes any game far more interesting. Don't be like Tower of Perverts.. I mean Tower of fantasy
Honkai impact 3rd is more like that.
Good stay away
i hope all female character
Pls be something that I can yell out "GENSHIN COULD NEVER"
Another gacha game to add to my endless list. :)
I am one of those girls that avoid waifu degen gachas, but I do play Hi3rd and it never really bothered me that it was all girls simply because 95% of the roster do not look or feel like 16-year-old girls with no personality. Characters like Aponia, Himeko, Kallen, Sushang etc. are cool, not cute in a uwu i love you incel~ way. The "girls" like early Kiana, Mei, Bronya, Seele, etc. now all have massive battlesuits. A lot of these Azur Promilia girls look like children with paimon-level personalities for lonely discord mods. (What I'd do for a Kalpas or boss Kevin suit omg)
Same. I love Honkai 3rd even tho it's a waifu-only game. The girls actually look like adult women and not high school girls made for pedos. And they have interesting stories and personalities
Wow we already have WuWa killer.
Waifu grant world true peace🗿🔥
game has potential but held back by no male characters and it's probably gonna have a resin system too which SUX
AL has a version of a resin type system, known as oil. We get enuf oil each day and week to keep us busy, if we want, for 4 hours per day or more. And progression isn’t slowed down by it. Ur progression is based on how much u wanna grind EXP, coins, mats, and gear. AP is taking a lot of inspiration from AL when it comes to important features and how they’ll work. There’s a pretty gud chance AP either won’t have a stamina system or 1 that doesn’t stop u a whole lot. Wudnt surprise me if they put in a stamina like system that is just ur girls getting too tired from doing things to do anymore for awhile so u kinda have to take a break and not play all day.
Genshin start the process of killing itself now, by greed.
Powercreep start to be more blatantly implement.
Weapon banner still a scam and extremely expensive even after Hoyo put "generous" reset-every-banner-fate-point. And 5* gacha-only weapon start to have even more power gap compare to free weapon while even more niche and useless for other character it not design for.
The Gacha rate is still fake, the "50/50" rate for me more like 80/20 after 3 years of playing.
I dont think this game will offer enough to make you care about any of these character aside from character designs. Genshin and hoyoverse makes you care about these characters there not just selling a design
Genshin Impact uses the same 5 templates and animations for all of their characters. They could've given the characters unique walk animations to enhance their personalities, but it's most egregious withthe chibi-female characters all having the same Naruto-run, which feels out-of-character for most of them.
There's no dudes? Nope, not interested. .....Wait there's pokemon? Hell yea!
If they copy genshin and palworld well they will crush genshin
Only male character is going to be the MC choice
Of course this game will be huge...for boys.
You are right, it looks really great. They are missing a lot of the audience, seeing that this game could do bigger by having male playable characters.
I hope this company would cater to the girls and gay gamers too. But seeing their previous game, my hopes are slim. Hoping for their success or changes!
Didn't the game get backlash from fragile Chinese men after seeing a male character in the trailer or so I heard
Its just that it's a coomer game turning off alot of people cause people would prefer not to have every char be a Hot female with big jugs go flying everything 1 step
I hope AzurPro will deliver and bring huge success to Manjuu
With how they said about no male, I dont think it's gonna be a problem, cuz in CN there so many ppl doesn't want male playable so they can gatekeep some toxicity.
I think he hit the spot about Male Characters. There is such a huge audience that they will miss out by not releasing characters to top the husbandos of Genshin.
I don't think you know how successful Azur Lane is💀
they will not be missing out on anything of value
I personally wont play it cause i dont like coomer games...............but of everything i saw in this game, it looks great in every way to movement and actually GOOD CASUAL FEATURES. (unlike an other certain game of the same genre)
running always like genshin😅
I mean do you want them to twist their legs or run backwards haha, it's just running, it's going to be similar 😭
No men in this has me highly interested. Genshin not releasing a single new limited 5 star non child character between Nilou and Furina was ridiculous and only females means I never have to worry about that again. Over a year with no limited female other than Nahida.
we need more gatekeep game like this, look at female only game community like blue archive and azur lane, that the best community i have ever seen in all gacha game community
true need to bring back segregation. some people shouldn't be mix with others. ppl need to stay on their own line.
male characters in game=drama on the community
not making any accusations on anyone just pointing out a pattern
Going by Azur Lane they do not want to appeal to the widest audience possible and that is a good thing.
ngl im kinda tired of open world gacha rpgs
looks nice but kinda unfortunate that it wont have any playable male characters
azurlane is cooking????
your hands are so pretty brax 😳
So many new anime gachas, so little free time and phone storage.
Just one thing is certain, RIP Tower of Fantasy.
it is HOYOVER 💀😭😭😭 (i'm not even gonna play this)
Game will surpass WuWa and ZZZ
Palworld Mobile
Eh, hard pass
"Realistically, the only thing that can kill genshin is itself". Bro spittin fact.
Yeah, if genshin devs don't innovate
I think you greatly misrepresented the Genshin community at the end.
The fanbase is not gay at all and in fact this group tends to hate on the game the most due to representation and it being a Chinese game and the lolis.
Fans who are unironically like this are far far far more likely to be casuals as this just isn't a very pro-anime mindset.
If you only take the Western audience then sure I can see where you can stretch it to believe this but if you go global then there is no way and China is the biggest market and its a Chinese game with Chinese values.
As for the women who want male characters they do definitely exist but as we all know, the male characters in Hoyoverse games do not sell very well.
This is the very reason why they often get sacrificed when the games needs a new female 5 star. As in they just can't compete with them in that niche over time.
Even when they are popular the thing is that they aren't the main pull to the games like a good female character is.
Although we can definitely say that they sell better in Genshin than they do in Star Rail.
The only problem of this game for me is the character models, ngl kinda looks like generic and boring imo.
the world feel super generic, bright/flashy colors =/= good art direction. Also 90% of the characters felt like minors in sexy outfits. OOOF. No thanks.
Curious about the project but doesn't feel as polished as Genshin or WuWa.

I am play because theirs no men to role a 50/50 on
This is so real... I am sick and tired of getting dudes (ESP THAT MTFING YANQING ALREADY ON E3 BTW OR DILUC OR TIGHNARI THAT I DO NOT EVEN USE, HECK EVEN BENNETT)... And yes, BA, AL and even Nikke, with their natural gatekeeping mechanism, offers a shield against NEEDLESS DRAMA from the alphabet cult...
No guy character nah...
This is like, from the same creators that created the game where you can marry all the girls in the game and has almost naked women
