I got my GTX760 in 2013 and replaced it in 2022 with a 6600XT. The GTX760 was a fabulous card in its day and gave a lot of performance for not much money. I mostly played Ghost Recon Advanced Warfare on it, and it was brilliant.

My dad still has 2 of these in SLI in his computer, and it still handles games kinda alright, but its age shows.

i just bought one ( a 760) and oc'd the fuck out of that card, it runs cyberpunk on high now, except textures because of 2gig vram. But respectable nonetheless, goodcard.................

I use a GTX 760 2GB on a secondary PC and at one point daily driver it this year because the other stopped working for a couple weeks. I was playing many games with friends using modern hardware, GTFO, project zombiod, metro 2033 and last light, rust and many other games with no problem at all. I was even playing subnautica at 4k resolution because I was using it on my school's smart board at lunch and it did artifact in the bases but other than that it worked great and still does

The real problem is games that won't load at all, generally I assume because of missing features. I've been playing around with a GTX 690 and an ASUS Poseidon GTX 780, and for the most part if it loads it plays, the biggest downer being that there appears to be some problems with the latest versions of FSR. If FSR worked right, it could basically pay for the party. Ditto with SLI, but modern games consider SLI less than worthless, which unfortunately makes the GTX 690 less than worthless. It also appears some newer and remastered game releases of older games behave more like modern games and just won't load, I had this issue with Crysis 3. I'd suggest most users who ate not like myself and looking at it froma collectors point of view to stay away from these cards, they will just be a headache for you
Just here for the nostalgia, 11 years ago I built my first pc with it, before building one for my brother with a HD 7870
I actually think the gtx 770 4gb is probably the gem worth looking at of the series. Better than 1050ti and more appropriately priced than the 780 and 780ti.
Adding onto my comment, in reality with the RX 580 2048 being so cheap delivered to your door from aliexpress any GPU worse than it is probably not advisable unless you see an incredible local deal.
I agree with the RX 580 2048SP part. They can found for amazing prices. As for Kepler cards, I can’t recommend them at all. Especially when the R9 Series aged way better and they’re also cheaper in local deals.
I never even looked at nvidia back then. I had a Radeon 270X which was only slightly slower and at least here was much cheaper.
Hey man do you think 750 ti over 760 is a good option as it's getting updates nowadays also? The performance is bad though compared to 760?
My asus 760 direct cuii 2gb was the first card I ever bought. I swapped it into a prebuilt dell office pc my dad bought me when I was 11 or 12.
My older brother still uses it to this day (with soda spilled on the pcb) but for christmas this year I upgraded him to a used RX580 8gb off ebay. That 760 will be framed along with my other original pc parts to remember where I started :) So many memories came from that card
That's the best thing about a GPU and I've done that with a couple of mine too!
That RX 580 upgrade is massive as well!

@@Iconic_boyz xeon aren't that cpu is for server and data center, It design for light task but multiple of it at a lower watt, it's not for game and it usualy come with ram with data corrupt buffer (ECC) make it slower ram speed but with less data error, no wonder it slower on game.
The drivers are old it’s giving me a problem running csgo

The newest 475.14 driver Spits out the 3d error fail. Get the 474.44 it will work with Cs 2

got the blower version of this back in 2014 or smth for like 80 euros, after it a msi gtx750ti with that nice cooler and I was baffeled that it performed kind of the same with almost half the cuda cores, probably because it was holding much higher clocks with lower temps and of a cpu bottleneck in some cases...
