What are you using right now in your photo booth setup?
I'm currently doing some research about what software to use. I need it to be autonomous, on the first screen the customer should select the picture sizes and number of copies in order to charge the customer and then open the session for them. Something like the Photo Booths in South Korea. Any suggestions? Thank you.!!!

Great video! Thank you for all the great information. You touched briefly on the use of touch foil and creating circular touch mirrors, could you elaborate more on that? Specifically how they work and where to obtain them would be awesome.
That's a great idea, I'll cover projective capacitive (PCAP) touch technology in my next video on photo booths.
Just watched the first video from earlier this year and all comments those impolite people left.... Should put them on camera let them give a it a shot. Anyhow great work seeing the growth from the first video to this one, you are feeling much more natural and your gestures and emoting doesn't distract. Keep it up, you'll be a pro in no time! One small pro tip that might help you, keep your heels planted, you are bouncing on your heels and it causes more movement than you want. Keep a good powerful confident planted base, heals down :)

Amazing video! very informative and encouraging, i just have a silly question: is it posible to reescale the touch area of the frame to work directly over a smaller tv and still be precise? i know you just did it, but I want people to draw over their photo and the line to appears where they want. How did you do it? which brand is your touch frame?
Yes you can! Greentouch (You can find it on Amazon!) offers amazing IR Touch frames and I in the description of this video there is a link to calibrate it so it will work with a smaller TV screen. 😄
Great video, thank you. Just a note a Mini PC doesn't over heat or have issues. Cheap ones do but all the modern intel NUC options with 8gb RAM are fine and don't have issues at all.
All PCs will have issues if they're not cooled well enough. I suggest having a fan in the top and vents in the bottom of any case that is housing a PC of any size. Thermal throttling sucks!

Yes, the printer is connected via WIFI or Bluetooth, so it will work for whatever you need it to!

Great video. If the IR touch is located in front of the mirror. How do you get the cord not to be pinched by it?
Thank you! We sand down one corner to fit the cable, but still be hidden by the frame.

Thanks! The illuminated mirror is simply an acrylic mirror where we rounded the corners and sand blasted the mirror around the edge. We added an LED strip to the back for illumination.

How did you make the LED frame around the mirror, with perspex? You didn't show in the video? Thanks!
The LED frame around the mirror is actually behind the mirror itself. We sandblasted the mirror coating of the Glass Smart Mirror and lined the LED lights on the inside of the frame so it would have a nice, soft/diffused look to the glow. At the timestamp 2:56 you can see the back of the frame where we put the black LED light strips. The back looks gray because it is sandblasted on the 2" perimeter of the glass.

Can you show (explain) please, how to make circle mirror? Because if I already have a sensor display, I can’t use the foil on a glass, because in this case sensor will not work. And the circle IR frame is absent in a markets…
And if I put the two way mirror(5mm) on a sensor display, it’s too not working… 😳

i want to start a photo booth business and sub contract to a bunch of banquet halls (i am connected to many of the owners), I was thinking an ipad and a ring light would get the job done since i wont be charging a lot but could i do this for the same cost?
Alex, Great question! It depends on what you already have and what size you want to do! For instance if you have a Canon DSLR or extra computer, it could be cost effective. It just depends. :) If you already have an iPad then I would say yes the iPad would be more cost effective. For iPads I absolutely love the Simplebooth software. It is $200 but is hands down the most fun app to use and you can go for a business software version for a monthly fee if you would want to collect client data like email, phone, etc.

Hi I like ur video. Just had one question. Once u have ur display (tablet) do u still connect it to a laptop or computer? Would I need a USB hub to connect the computers display overlay and camera?
Great question! If you're using a tablet, you don't need to connect it to a PC. If you're using a TV or monitor, you do need to connect it. A USB hub may be useful if you need to connect more than just the touch overlay via USB
I know this video is 1 year old but I have a question.
Can I use a 17" IR touch overlay with a 14" surface pro table but have the mirror at 25-32" and then that camera on top.
Because IR are so expensive in Australia I want to test on a small scale before going larger.

Think of "points" as fingers. 16 fingers on the screen vs 20. ! :)

Unless you place the camera on the complete top, no, you would not use flash. It would distort the final result.
how can you sync the IR touch overlay to the small display, If your using the 55inch touch overlay, complete 55inch will work?, for example: i am using 55inch touch overlay with 15 inch display behind the glass, how do I sync 55inch touch overlay to work for 15 inch display
There are programs you can run that will calibrate it to the screen size you have.

I tried to build magic mirror photo booth using touch foil, but there is a problem, because the two way mirror film i used make the touch foil not working. Please, any advice?
It will not work with film. try using a reflective and transparent glass instead of film. You can view our smart mirror glass or dielectric glass! Twowaymirrors.com
Hello. Im in process of ordering a touch foil... but they're telling me the metal in the mirror will render the touch foil useless. Can you give specifics on exactly what touch foil you used?
Dusty, the PCAP works great through our mirrors! We provide the touch film for clients quite often.
@@twowaymirrors is it dielectric mirrors only? Or works through the metal silvering? The several companies i asked said metal conductivity interference wont work. You sell the pcap touch foils?

Will this work with an iPad Pro?
It works best with Windows. Unfortunately, blocking the screen of an iPad makes it difficult to control. Unless you're using Siri, of course!

I'd go with the glass if possible. Acrylic is fine if the mirror is 24" x 48" or smaller and you aren't adding touch to it.
