Really appreciate this video and review, I have been considering this chest rig for a long time for fly fishing but I fish with a chest pack (FishPond Thunderhead) and have always been concerned about my chest pack interfering with a vertical draw. Seeing how you rotate the rig to be a side draw and that it is still fully functional in that orientation is exactly what I wanted to see. Cheers.
really wanting one of those....bt im thinking im going to be packing a G20. Don't suppose you would show that wearing theG20 and bino case while shooting your bow?
Thanks for showing it with a smaller frame gun, all the other videos are with a Glock 20 or large revolver. Considering one for smaller gun and wanted to see this.
Just a tip, I would suggest finding a better place for your support hand/arm while holstering and drawing, it looks like you were flagging yourself pretty badly
@@johnlicon2472 the strap going up over his shoulder should be on the opposite side of his head on the opposite shoulder. His idea of having better access to the gun with a bino harness is not wrong, but if he wore the harness more snug on the top strap it and the strap going under his left arm then it would allow for a horizontal pull from behind the harness. The pitfall of the method he used when he started the video is that if you were to draw in an emergency situation, the main shoulder strap is supposed to pull against the neck for easier draw. With the shoulder strap on the shoulder of the arm that is drawing the gun, the holster has an easier time of following the gun, this elongating the draw to get the gun out and increasing the time it takes to draw. The odds of it happening are small, but still there. So yes it is not being worn how it’s intended, but it does still work.
@@collinmcintee5392 thank you...just learned last night that is the wrong way to mount that holster....every nano second counts! Do you own 1? Is it worth it?
Great holster love mine. Well worth the money.
No lefties?

Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
Do they make one for a FN 509c?
do you find the combination of Bino case and gun holster gets in the way when drawing/aiming a bow?
Both sit tight enough to the chest that it has never been a problem drawing a bow.
