My best driving advice is use as much road as possible and run up on as many curbs as you can get away with. Most of the curbs in Melbourne are rather flat with a couple exceptions. Also when it comes to braking the biggest thing is to learn your braking points and try to be consistent with those so you’re quick and then adjust them when racing for positions as to not lock up and cause a collision. As I’ve seen someone else mention, ers management is SUPER important as well. I would almost recommend setting it to automatic until you’re more comfortable with the cars and then introducing that factor because it adds sooo much more to the race. Especially since ERS and fuel management usually go hand in hand. Overtake + lean can still = fast. It’s all situational
I'm not a big motorsports fan. Have never been able to watch NASCAR but I have always LOVED Formula 1, the history, the technology, and how insanely skilled those drivers are just fascinates the shit out of me. Looks like an awesome game.
Hey jeff that menu is your mfd which allows you ti change your fuel and ers modes.And you should probably switch that overtake button off bcause it uses up a lot of ers that was why the car was slow towards the end of the lap...

You're not over driving a lot of corners, you're either super aggressive on the brakes, or trying to turn while braking. you always want to keep the car as straight as you can, get on the brakes, without locking up, and get off them in the corner.
I'm definitely looking forward to more racing once this is released, I'd specifically like to see your run on Monaco. I've started with '17 and I'm skipping this one (I want next year's cars) but I've hands down never won Monaco and I have never ran clean on it. When running Monaco with F1 cars, that power is what makes it difficult for me, I'm usually racing on 90 for AI and for Monaco I'd have to bump that down to have a chance of staying with the pack. Since FE isn't near as powerful, I think getting used to the grip would be enough
Yea it was a struggle for me at first as well but I did some time trial and just learned the brakin points of each corner and when to turn and stuff like that and it got easier.....just keep practising it will become easy soon...

jeff where did you get that racing sim set ive been trying to find some but all i find is the racing stand but no wheel pedals or stick shift/panels do you know any racing simulator thats maybe affordable if i know the price of yours and think its to high.

Mate formula E circuits are basically all Monaco - thin street tracks
