Thank you Archbishop for the beautiful sermon, the challenge and thought provoking reminding of the catechists unique vocation. When my parents were catechists Dad walked every Saturday to visit and distributed the auauna. I must say the catechists are really the John Baptists preparing the people of God for the sacraments. We had daily aoga a le fesoasoani. We their children had a role to teach and my parents did the kapite and Tusi Paia. Thank you for your spot on apoapoaiga concerning their lifestyles. My parents class of catechists were the most passionate, ardent, fearless and hard-working couples. They never had cars, or faatalitali viiga, faatalitali teutusi. They taught us the worth of hard-working together with our aulotu, autalavou for the good of all. I am so proud to be a catechist 's daughter and I must acknowledge also the roles they played in promoting vocations to the priesthood and religious life. I think most of the vocations are catechists' children. It just rubbed off from our parents, the living example of a life of selfless service to God through the people whom they were sent to serve. ETERNAL THANKS TO ALL CATECHISTS PAST AND PRESENT. THANKS TO THE MARIST FATHERS WHO CREATED THIS UNIQUE MASTERPIECE AND BRAINCHILD . MAY CATECHISTS CONTINUE TO BLOOM AND GROW FOREVER FOR THE GLORY OF GOD AND OUR CATHOLIC WORLD. AMEN, ALLELUIA. LOVE YOU ALL AND KEEP SERVING. ❤❤❤ From Perth Australia 🇦🇺
Beautiful challenge for catechists. My children remember visits every Saturday, and now they are parents and no visit from catechism. The morning and evening bells remind each person in our family to stop and thank God for another day of life.😊😊😊
