Yeriel I’m filled with both joy and sadness for you (after reading your comments above). Having a positive relationship with your mother is so rewarding. Honoring both father and mother is not just a commandment, it is an opportunity for an unexpected blessing. I know this personally. It wasn’t until my father passed (1996) that I fully realized how wonderful my mother was. Being handed the responsibility of being her only caregiver at that point I even discovered what my (biological) father’s love for her was like. What an eyeopener that was! (Having never been married, it was the only time in my life I have ever had a long-term obligation to anyone but myself.) Quickly moving to the sadness side of the news you offer ....... It tears me apart to know you are still not recovered. I suspected as much but lacked the proof till now. In the body of Christ, when one part suffers, it all does. At this point some people would say, ‘all we can do is pray’ but in truth we can’t do anything GREATER than pray. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers. Soli Deo Gloria
Galatians 6:10 says, “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, ESPECIALLY to those who belong to the family of believers.” Yeriel, it’s been far too long without hearing anything from you. I’ve been praying for that Galatians 6:10 ‘opportunity’ to comfort you in some way. I can only assume that your still are not able to return to your previous schedule. Your praise music has been such a blessing to me, and I truly miss the joy it gives to me. But much greater than that … I am saddened simply because you are still not as you would like to be. I continue to pray for your recovery. God has a plan, and we must trust Him always. As the scripture says: Romans 11:33-36 “Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable His judgments, and His paths beyond tracing out! Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been His counselor Who has ever given to God, that God should repay them.
