The monthly pays confuse me so much in Australia, obviously living costs are a lot higher however 8grand 😮love these videos tho Ella, like you I’m a budgeting kweeen and not many people do these! Also love how transparent you are 🤍

I live with my parents, pay board and STILL have a Grocery Budget for myself even though my parents buy all of the food for meals... BUT i love to buy my own snacks!!!! (and toiletries and things like that) There is always need for a grocery budget as well as a board budget (Or maybe that is only me and my own love for going to Woolies 👀 and my love for snacks 😂) 💖
AHHH! was waiting for this, only discovered you recently and I love your videos😍 it's also mad to see the difference in living somewhere else in the world and the costs and wages etc, I literally make around £1,500 a month as a support worker and that's for like 50 hours a week🥴😆 xx
Always have to factor in conversions though, pounds are almost double AUD most of the time. We have high minimum wage in aus but also taxes and cost of goods and services is high. Not complaining just adding to complexity of comparing wages and costs around the world. Also support workers are so important, I wish wages everywhere around the globe reflected the incredible work you do! Yet another undervalued industry 😔

Great work but thought Id point out youre not really saving money living with your parents if your board is 1200 a month and the storage is 240 as thats only $40 better than $1480. Maybe that $40 could go towards coffee
The board is covering groceries and household bills though so we're saving almost $800 a month in fact. But I will definitely take any excuse to spend more money on coffee 😂

that’s crazy!! i made $1500 in 2 weeks as a checkout operator at a major supermarket in australia. UK needs to raise their minimum wage !

Just curious, do you have any debt? Credit cards?
we have no debt apart from our HECS and mortgage 😊 We don't use credit cards (they're not as big of a 'thing' in Australia compared to North America)
