Wow, this is amazing. I'm 48 and never met my father. In April of this year I saw a picture of him for the first time. He died around 1985 the year I graduated High School. It was 5 years later when I found out. My hopes of meeting him some day flew out the window. This story really brought Joy to my heart.❤❤

I'm sorry dear, I know the feeling. I finally saw a picture of my dad last year in April and my grandmother. ( she worked at the Cotton Club and was best friends with Billie Holiday)!! Though I never got to meet them at least I have a image to go with their names.

This stuff was still going on in the mid 60's when I was stationed in Nuremberg Germany. It seemed to me more a case of low class German girls stalking black soldiers to see if the rumors about "Once you go black you never go back" were true. Naturally, few if any, soldiers of any race would turn down free "Tang" so lots of babies were born out of wedlock to American fathers who later shipped back home or shipped to Vietnam. It was no fault of my brothers in arms. A soldier does what he has to do. In that profession in the 60s death at a very young age was always just a round the corner. All of us were just a form 1049 away from shipping off to Vietnam... and any student of history knows how that turned out. 59,000 Americans, my brothers and sisters in arms that served there died for nothing! All thanks to JFK and the racist bung hole LBJ, democrats, I might add. BTW, the Bush boys, father and son, were the only Republicans to start a war since the civil war. A war started by southern democrats, the worst racist in the world. One of the democrat stars, Robert K Byrd, was a freaking KKK recruiter!
Teddy Roosevelt, founder of the progressive party that later merged with the dem party, got us into the Spanish American war. Woodrow Wilson, a dem, got us into WWI. FDR, a dem, got us into WWII. Truman, a dem, got us into Korea. JFK, a dem, got us into Vietnam, LBJ, a very racist dem, escalated the Vietnam war totally out of control (following dem Harry Truman's introduced idiotic concept of "limited war" and "rules of engagement." LBJ elevated that concept to the next idiotic level). Want to fight a war? Then fight to win, which means total destruction of the enemy, otherwise don't bother to fight/get involved and put our troops in harms. DO NOT get into it unless you intend to win! Bill Clinton, a dem, got us into Somalia and also cruise missiled an aspirin factory in Sudan, one of the poorest countries on earth (how heroic!) to take the focus off his Monica Lewinsky affair.
Dems are war mongers, rude, and intolerant.

I hope you know a president cannot start a war by himself, senate votes whether to declare a war or not. Also I hope you know the Parties ideals flipped around the time of FDR from the Republicans being liberals and Democrats conservative to Democrats being Liberals and Republicans being Conservatives. So the party names of Democrat and Republican don't really mean much as to their orientation. The Spanish American war was in response to an attack and sinking of a ship, WW1 started after repeated German U-boat attacks, WW2 started after the attack of pearl harbor, so those were not really started by the U.S. Korea was because of Korea being an ally and being a developing government we help set getting attacked by soviet supported N.Korea, which again we were not the aggressors and our allies were attacked and there was the Truman Doctrine agreed upon with bipartisan support. Vietnam started with French Indo-China being attacked by separatists and then the U.S. helping their ally the French to defend it by training South Vietnamese forces and then it escalating after some U.S. forces being killed, and we also helped because of the Truman Doctrine. Now Somalia wasn't even a war it was an extraction of a downed crew which became a major conflict, and either way the U.S. was involved in it because we are in the U.N.
Anyways, no matter who was the president whether Republican or Democrat most of these conflicts would of happened anyways.
