    Love it. Look like great adventures!! How much gear can you get in those TiZip “trunks” or boots?

      Heaps! You can fill the entire interior of the boat. Wouldn’t pay to put heavy sharp stuff on there for obvious reasons. Does pay to put gear in dry bags inside boat but not essential and it should be dry inside with care taken.

    Did you take one size up to compensate for the bike on the bow?

    • @DeaneParkerAdventureChannel
      @DeaneParkerAdventureChannel  3 года назад +1

      Nope. On that trip I’m in a Classic series Llama and my white water boat is a Gnarwhal but I’m 6’ and 85kg so I doubt I’d fit the Wolverine

      So I'm 187cm (Euro here) and trying to work out the best size for normal backpacking and also bikerafting. Any tips?

      @@ogruffo depends on your white water aspirations. The Caribou is the most leg room excellent for bikerafting and cheaper but it has basic outfitting no skirt or self bailing option so limited for running rapids. If you fit the Gnarwhal that’s the ultimate boat but it’s much heavier than the caribou and spendy

      @@DeaneParkerAdventureChannel Really appreciate the time for replying. I'll just be using it on lakes and calm downriver trips. No ww stuff unless I take a wrong turn. :)

      @@ogruffo sweet as. Sound like the Caribou would be perfect. Mostly important about the Alpacka boats to cheaper brands is, durability, lightweight and how packable they are
