I've been through some ime's and fce. They all hurt me, exacerbated my disability symptoms and increased severe pains. At one point, they wanted me to travel 100+ km for another assessment. My Dr's wrote letters advising that another apt and travelling was excessive and would exacerbate my symptoms. They backed off.

Your own doctors were right to put their foot down.
