ah so monsters of rock has been fully removed! i heard for a while they kept the building completely locked cause the ride hardware was apparently still in there! incredible video by the way ive subscribed!
Yeah basically. It was actually locked up for long time, yeah. Lots of hardware and confidential files were inside the building. Seems that partial demolition has started
“ My opinion is that the Moody Blues dark ride should never have been installed at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I mean the average person visiting Myrtle Beach is not really a progressive hippie. I think it would stand the test of time in London or even San Francisco. Timothy Leary was from the SF Bay Area after all. Then maybe change the ride theme song to ‘ Legend of a Mind’ instead of ‘Nights in White Satin’.
Ohhhh yes yes yes!
WHAT A WASTE!
Love this abandoned stuff!
Slick production 👍
Thanks BSF for the recommendation.
Waccamaw Pottery. I remember going there as a kid with my mama and grandma.
The fact this abandoned mall was there the entire time with a carnival ride inside it
Is absolutely baffling

Damn i remember that
It only closed 12 years ago in 2009 and it looks like it’s been closed for 20 or even 30 years
Well it was closed years before Hard Rock, the park just made use of part of it.
Guys....c'mon, haha. Its pronounced Walk-a-maw, and Orry county. Grew up with this mall!
We didn’t grow up there so we wouldn’t know that!
Indeed, it is easy to tell who’s from SC from pronunciation and mannerisms. I know all too well.
