- She left her work as a trained teacher when she heard the call to become a missionary. She got degrees as a bachelor and a master of Theology. She went overseas as a black missionary in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Australia. Finally she was called as a lecturer for English to the Lutheran Highland Seminary at Ogelbeng near Mount Hagen. She is the first female lecturer at a seminary of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Papua New Guinea. This is Ms. Biankepe Teine exciting story as a black missionary and a pioneer teacher.
