First of all, this is impressive! It's amazing to see what someone can do with an Asset. I wanted to ask you how did you replace the Default 3D Model that comes with the Climbing Asset with the Altair 3D Model cause it seems like the rig isn't from mixamo and I don't want to rig it on my own xD
The Altair model is indeed from Mixamo, if you have your own unrigged model you can upload it to there and have it auto-rigged in a few simple steps. Once you have imported your rigged model into Unity make sure it is set to "Humanoid" in the import settings. You should be able to use this model for the climbing asset. There are other things that could cause issues but following this general guide will solve most problems.
Cheers. I had this all up and working in a day.. its quite difficult to fathom the tools at the disposal of an indie now, I'm old enough to feel like this shouldnt have been possible to do this easily. I'm not planning to make a game from this - I guess that is obvious given IP concerns - but moreover I have actual projects to work on... I expect better from even asset flips now after this.
