- Hey all! Getting close to closing out week three of Gilmour month. thought I'd tackle the solo to one of my very favorite Pink Floyd 2.0 tracks. On the Turning Away from A Momentary lapse of Reason.

This is one of David's solos that the live version surpasses the album version. Still amazing. Must have for Gilmour month!

The live version of this solo recorded in Atlanta during the Momentary Lapse tour is really something special.
I was fortunate enough to get to see David perform it live on the same 1987 tour in Lexington, KY. Only 17 rows from the stage. It remains my favorite concert ever. Awesome version here KDA!

I agree, his live versions especially delicate sound of thunder sorry, I like better than pulse but, david and pink floyd are one of those bands that are just better live.
