Hi and thanks for this. It helped me understand that there is a difference between nay as in hom nay and ngay for ngay mai. I was treating those words as the same. When you give the english translation of your example sentence, it might help some of us if you are more literal in the translation. That will help us follow the other Vietnamese words you are using in your example sentences. I understand you are just telling us roughly or quickly what the sentence meant. I hope that makes sense. Otherwise I think your lessons are very practical and helpful. Thanks again!

Ahhhhhh. I got it Vào hôm kia means On that day. In this situation it plays a role as a preposition, you can use Vào for days, for example Vào hôm qua means Yesterday, Vào hôm khác means in another day... Hope it helps
