  • You will learn that why electrostatic field inside a conductor is zero.
    Q: Why electric field inside a conductor is zero?
    Ans: When we place any conductor like copper or gold conductor inside electric field, induced electric field is generated inside the conductor. This induced electric field oppresses the external or applied electric field. Due to which the net electrostatic field becomes zero.
    Therefore, we say that electrostatic inside a conductor is zero.
    To learn more about zero electric field inside a conductor, watch this animated lecture till the end.

      In conductor have no internal electric field, so it cannot cancel each other

      Conversion of charges / energy
      Net force should be zero

    • @cryptid1925
      @cryptid1925 2 года назад +6

      If the forces are not equal in magnitude then the electrons will continue to move closer to the positive plate so that at the end the net force on the electron will be zero (they will try to achieve the most stable position i.e. Fnet=0)

    • @aritragupta4932
      @aritragupta4932 Год назад +1

      Because conductor has large amount free electrons so same amount of charge will be accumulated on the side of the conductor as the charges of the applied ef ,so the electric field is also same and potential difference too
