the whole show had the concept of puzzles so i wanted their debut to have something to DO WITH PUZZLES. there is so much opportunities and ideas that can come out of this “puzzle” concept. even their name is puzzle backwards 😭 there could’ve been some kind of concept switch where “puzzle” is their lighter/cuter side and “elzzup” as their darker/girl crush side (kind like redvelet) ???? like there is just so much wasted potential with this group… i was really hoping for an izone 2.0 😩
What I can imagine they can do with their debut mv is that the members bring together their own pieces from the previous careers (to do that, they do a little bit of cameo from their iconic moments for example Yeeun with cutting hair in Black Dress) and they pieces them together and form ELZ7UP. Yeah so much fun opportunities instead of just deadass put a boring idle clip of the tiara at the end lol.

And also the lack of promotions they don’t even attend tv/variety shows yet, tho in-terms of album sales they’re doing great but still feel like most of their fans will still prioritize their original group, hopefully el7zup will go bigger so we can have a permanent unit group 😭🩷
Why EL7ZUP members are not allow to join the promotional activities from the original group? EL7ZUP function as a special project group unlike IZONE or Kep1er.
i agree i did not expect that concept at all, but what is still crazy to me is the girls have not promoted much outside of music shows. they have no fun group content on their yt and they haven't gone on any variety shows like their company is fumbling hard. they were on a survival show where people (like me!) fell in love with their personalities and chemistry together, why are they not showing that in content??
I really love EL7Z UP and remain hopeful things will come together & work out for them to be successful! I love the unique blend of vocal talent here especially, and the potential they seem to have. Their english version of "Die for You" is such a masterpiece and showcases each members vocal talent & stage presence. I can only hope their company gives them their full support!

I actually followed queendom puzzle every episode and was excited for their debut but I didn’t know they already debuted until 1 week later. Hence, I think their marketing was not enough. Also, I agree that their debut song doesn’t fit the members. I thought they’d do the strong girl crush concept since most members shined when they did similar songs in the show.
they absolutely did not have the budget for it. it was incredibly obvious how drastic the budget dropped even from episode to episode of QP. there was absolutely NO SET for the FINALE stage, while earlier ones had set design 😭 mnet definitely was working on a super fucking tight budget. that’s canva font design i’m very happy with their music even if the budget is 48$

When I read some of the comments and your video, yall have no understanding of korean calendar. They just had no time, They had set date for the japanese concert to have somewhat their first album. The date they come up with is only one that they could've choose. They were running into the holiday week where even first tier groups would avoid to release. And follow by Asian game where all of the music shows were canceled and replaced with sporting events. After that, they are at Saudi Arabia than Japan and Paris. I think they had to show something before everything. Also one of the selling company missed entire pre-order album which did not count on first week making ppl assume their first week sales could be somewhere between 40k and 50k. I think they just needed more time. I am looking forward to see what they come up with next time. Their contract is three albums. Hope they bounce back.
Comparing IZONE with Elzzup isn't fair. With PD48, MNET still had credibility, and it had many more viewers than Queendom Puzzle. Additionally, Kpop was most popular when IZONE debuted, while Elzzup debuted after the Kpop craze ended.

The debut song and albums are alright I wouldn’t go as far as to say that they’re bad, but they’re not great either. I do hope they give these talented individuals better songs and better promotion.

im so mad. this group has/had some of my fav groups and biases from their respective groups(Yuki, Yeoreum, Kei, Nana) and they killed the snap stage at MAMA, now they’ve been “on hiatus” for what feels like a little too long, especially knowing MNET who takes bad care of their groups and probably just dropped elz7up. why do we still allow MNET to even just exist. they rigged all produce series and ruined the groups formed from them, fumbled kep1er and also gave unfair screen time and editing to other girls in gp999, put way more effort into zb1 and bp999 than gp999 showing that the girls were just their test guinea pigs, and now they’ve ruined elz7up
The survival show groups that have multiple members in different active groups on top of a new group is just a shit show. It’s been a bit and we haven’t seen a comeback
I think cheeky is a catchy song but generic like you say. The girls look like they have fun performing it, or are really good at conveying the cute/joyful expressions at least. I found el7z up through queendom puzzle’s dance practice for Billionaire which wowed me!! I wish I could see live performances of that

What i wanna say is since there's Yeeun, Kei & Yeoreum, this group is definitely not flop, only that they promote a so so song.. and that's for only two weeks, so it is hard to get 1st win. Taking members of smaller nugu/old groups and bringing them together is less exciting for people than a fresh group of talented newcomers e.g. Kep1er, because there's not much to find out, we already have got to known them. These girls are super talented, and so are the groups they're from, but they're all under the radar so it's harder for them to blow up, only hardcore fans that have these members as biases will follow. Together with the poor marketing and small time frame given for their debut, I'm not surprised the MV didn't get that many views.
I didn't even realize they had debuted and didn't hear anything about the winners, I tuned in for the 1st ep and a few of the performances but the budget just wasn't there so I stopped keeping up, and then forgot about it until a friend mentioned them, they did a poor job with the marketing and they just don't seem to have invested a lot since the beginning.
I think the members should take a hiatus to their original group and fully commit to elzup if they want it to be succesful. I don't see their dynamics as a group yet, it seems like solo artists put together for a collab.
I think they didn't flop and I loved their song to be honest but I hoped for a different concept since no member fit the cute concept except Kei and yeonhee but TBH love the song and some besides are good also the rap and the chours part
